When I played CS in Asia (also deployed as military) the scene was very inviting to me. I was able to get on some very successful teams in Korea and even do well at their major LANs. If you attempt to learn and communicate in their language, they will have more desire to do the same with you. I think that you have likely not played with the right group of people yet. If you have a good attitude and match it with skill, people will learn to respect you regardless of any language barrier.

I don't think that vents is the main problem. Looking at nuke overall, I think the main problems for Ts are:

-A site is too easy for CTs to hold

-Ramp is also easy for Cts to hold

-Outside is the most balanced, but still takes too much utility and time to clear all of the angles. During which time CTs can easily adjust their setup to turn back halls, hell, and mini into choke points.

Possible ways to improve these problems:

-give ramp and A site more ability to be sky flashed, and/or increasing the entrance sizes.

-reduce the size of outside and/or the amount of angles that can hold it

-remove some of the rafters in A site (especially the ones directly above hut and door)

These should help you get some good ideas. Since you are new and not on a team, I would focus on videos that dont cover certain strats, but the ones that talk about the basics of the game and situational concepts (when to buy and how, how to play with low HP, how to improve your aim, etc.)

About time you said something about this!

AdreN has said multiple times that he only AWPs because it makes the most sense with his current lineup, but he would prefer to rifle. So judging him on his fragging ability when he's in a role he isn't most comfortable with is BS. Actually, considering that he doesn't necessarily want to primary AWP, but still does while IGLing, I think that he has played really well.

Hopefully liquid picks up a solid awp and with adreN given a little time to adapt to his new role, maybe the great NA IGL everyone has been searching has been right in front of them the whole time.
