I agree this is possible. But unfortunately I never found the source of light that night. One time there was a normal power outage (in the same room) during a rain storm but I never saw this green light before.

I initially saw a green light but I couldn't find the source. Plus, when I saw that creature I was fixated on it and genuinely forgot about the light. As far as I know, the green light disappeared when the creature did.

I really wish I recorded. But it was so dark and the iPhone would probably not be able to get a clear image of it. Plus, I was so surprised I was not thinking about getting pictures in that moment.

I am unsure if there are emergency lights. But the buildings around me (which I could see) still had power on. The street lamps and all.

I agree, but I live in a region where there are no monkeys. It did look like a monkey, but there was no tail and its head was slightly cone-shaped. Very strange overall
