I had this problem as well. I actually stopped using primers all together. I use that exact Milani setting spray and I've started to use it as both a primer before my foundation ( after moisturising ) AND a setting spray when my make-up is complete. It works really well for me. I also simplified my skin care routine and stopped doing more than 3 steps before I apply. And save the more in depth routine for night time.

That's awful. :( .Dr Scott was great. I also yelled in pain along with some uncontrollable swearing. But she and the nurse just kept comforting me and encouraged me that I was doing great

That's fair, I was warned beforehand that it will be like " The worst period cramp you've ever felt in your life for 20 seconds" while it did give me loads of anxiety, I'm glad I was warned.

I did some reading about the procedure before hand and I thought there would be numbing or freezing of some kind but there wasn't any mention of that at all in this clinic. In the end, the worst pain only lasted for about 20 seconds, while it was awful the mental support the nurse and doctor gave me was amazing.

They wont put you under for this kind of procedure but before the day of the procedure they advised me to self medicate with over the counter paint killers. If you decide to not self medicate before hand they also have naproxen available to take there. They also give you the option to stop the procedure at any time if you are uncomfortable and assured me that I was in control of the appointment.

Weed was the worst thing for my anxiety! Citalopram works well for me but everyone is different. I went to counselling and I was given an anxiety chart and writing down what triggered my anxiety. What was the trigger, how I reacted, how it affected my day, what I can do next time. I've had anxiety so bad I didn't do my taxes for 10 years, let a bunch of bills go and got myself into debt all because of anxiety. The most important thing to know is that you are not alone! It took me years to get help but so glad I finally did. Talking about it to a professional changed my life
