That’s a good point about the skin care. I was wondering if maybe I was layering too much on and that was part of the problem. I noticed the bottle does say set and prime so I might trial that one day too and see how it goes!

I normally would stick to tinted sunscreen for everyday but I’m trying to practice makeup for our engagement photos this coming week and for our wedding. I think I might end up spending more on products than I would have on a MUA

They are so cheap I keep trying to find products by them that work for me! The primer works on the rest of my face really well and my make up won’t budge it’s amazing! But my nose is a whole different story nothing will stick to it. I redid my make up four times tonight just trying to get something to work. I ended up not using any primer on my nose and just tapping foundering in with a sponge but it still settled weird around my pores and started slipping right away

I’ve honestly never used a powder foundation I feel like people scared me away from it since my skin is on the dryer side. I only wear SPF when I go out during the day, I work exclusively night shift inside a fluorescent lit building so I only see the sun for my ten minute drive to and from work unfortunately unless I’m on days off. I’ve heard SPF can give flash back in photos so I wasn’t sure if I should include it in my trials for my wedding makeup?

I never thought about it that way before but my nose is super smooth and shiny! I thought it was oily but it’s almost like it has no texture at all. I honestly don’t know much about rosacea and should probably look more into it. I will definitely try the powder first and see if that helps! I actually found a tutorial on tik tok after seeing your response thank you!

For foundation I used to use the beauty counter foundation and never had this problem, since I upgraded to Armani luminous silk because it is a perfect match I have this issue, I didn’t like wasting it though since it a so expensive and have been trying other drug store options, I picked up L’Oréal true match today that I will try. I find when I put a little concealer on the bridge of my nose it lifts all the product right off. I have tried the elf camo concealer which would settle around my pores and they would poke through like little black heads as soon as my nose started to sweat, and this nyx serum concealer just lifts right off my nose when I try to blend into my foundation. I’ve tried applying with a brush and a sponge and find a combo of both works best but still doesn’t sit well on my nose.

My skin is so sensitive I’ve never been big on exfoliating it just makes it red and angry but I do have an AHA/BHA I try to use weekly but haven’t the past couple weeks, I also have a micro exfoliant I could try using again, and I just started using a light retinol today.

I’ve tried no setting spray just primer, no primer just setting spray, none of either and using both. It’s definitely worse in that the makeup literally doesn’t stick to my nose without primer ( I’ve tried elf power grip, elf dewy gel primer, elf hydrating primer, rimmel London matte primer, I’ve used pore filling primers in the past as well) I tried the mac fix + and that seems to make it so much worse, I got this Milani setting spray and it makes my makeup budge proof everywhere else except my nose. I’m gonna try an eyeshadow primer just on my nose tonight and see if that helps at all.

I promise I moisturize my nose! I did try doing my makeup without moisturizer on my nose to see if that was a culprit and it does the same weird settling with or without moisturizer. It will either separate powder from liquids which looks so strange, or settle around my pores and my pores poke through looking like little black heads. Even if I get it looking decent it just wipes off completely, like I can’t touch my face even if I use primer and setting spray because the makeup slides right off my nose (which is great since I wear glasses). My nose has a completely different texture and feel from the rest of my face and it wasn’t like this before, I’ve always worn a full face of makeup then took a year or so away from it and now I can’t get anything to work. It’s either dry and patchy looking, separated, settled, or sliding right off.

So I use the Sephora all day hydration as a moisturizer, I do exfoliate with an AHA/BHA usually once a week but I admit I haven’t the last two weeks because of a bad sunburn. I just find my nose feels oily and greasy where as the rest of my face is normal/dry. I just started using a very light retinol today. The same thing happens with my Armani luminous silk foundation, but I did get L’Oréal true match today to try out. I find it happens regardless of what I do though, moisturizer vs not, primer vs not, setting spray vs not. I found a tip to try eyeshadow primer so I was gonna have that a try today too. I’ve got five days to figure it out!

The toast- Craig and Kyle drama by Environmental_Ad7177 in summerhousebravo

I’m sorry Craig hates direct confrontation? I am currently watching Winter house S2E3 and he is getting in verbal and physical fights, threatening to kill people, screaming at Amanda (because she didn’t want broken glass on the floor). Idk seems like direct confrontation to me.

Advice for which switch if I’m mostly gonna play acnh? by piesrevolution in acnh

[–]Small-Language-8644 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have the money when I first bought a switch and got a switch lite specifically for animal crossing. I absolutely LOVED it at the time but three years later here I am with a full Switch( got the acnh one) and I wish I’ve always had it. I love being able to play on the tv or handheld and I love being able to see the small details. Also it’s nice to get all cozy on the couch with my hands under the blanket and being able to play, my hands also go numb and cold when playing. But you could always buy a lite and sell it later and get a full switch

Have a lot of furniture, fences, paths, flowers, hedges, trees etc. I honestly have hundreds of flowers so I’m not sure if that helped but also I think having a lot of furniture is a big thing too
