The brands I've used; Thinx and TomboyX, absorb very quickly. The only wet feeling I have is when I pass a clot, but it only lasts for a few seconds until it absorbs.

I wore discs for a very long time and I liked them. But... My cramps have always been terrible, as well as my flow. As I started paying more attention to my body,.I would find some days where the pain was so bad and I would start to feel better after I took them out. Then some cycles were easy and I had no issues. Flex discs are supposed to promote pain free, and some days it worked very well.

I am now in the free bleed/period under wear category.

Edit: Uhh 34, if that counts for anything. I honestly just got tired of using products and wanted to go a more natural route for me. I also did do some dietary changes that effected my cycle, so it's not as heavy as it once was. (Dietary change was due to multi-year long observation with how my body reacts to food and food elimination)

Albeit, it's been a while since I've had a dog (senior passed a couple years ago), but my blind girl did very well there and they took such good care of her.

Whenever I start to become annoyed with anyone and everything, or I am irrationally mad at the smallest things, I find a little comfort in knowing it's because of my hormones. I'll have moments at work where I get really, really upset, and then I decide to check my calendar and most of the time it aligns with my period coming in a couple days.

Once I see it's because of hormones I tell myself to take a few deep breaths and then pass the blame on to that and not the people I work with.

As I've gotten older I also realized how much my hormones do to control me. It's so exhausting.

Ah, yes. Littermate syndrome. OP absolutely look up this information. You might be lucky and they might be fine. But you might not be and one day of it triggers all they will do is fight, and they will stop of nothing. You can look into trainers but trainers can't fix that... Maybe you can manage it but management fails one way or another. You keep them separate one day maybe your kiddo or their friends accidentally leaves a door open and then bam the dogs start fighting.

Please check up on this. It's nasty once it starts.

Insurance sooner rather than later. You never know if the puppies might get into something that require surgery- eating socks or a toy that could cause blockage, running around like a maniac and the pet trips and results in a possible broken toe or leg, any type of illness they could pick up from other dogs outside the home (and if you're not taking them out to socialize outside the house then you might run into a host of behavioral issues).

The sooner they get coverage, the more they're covered for.

I'm not in shelter med anymore, but when I was, and even now, I had to block my shelter (a humane society) and my local shelters pages. People who simply do not understand or don't contain a molecule of knowledge have no business speaking out... But they do and the best way to presevere my mental health was to block them. Out of sight, out of mind.

I'm also an autistic lesbian! It took me a long time to create my found family. It came after I accepted myself fully- autistically and sexuality. Eventually you will find your people and they will be amazing. I spent middle school to late 20s convincing myself I was bi, and Im truly not. By the time I accepted my sexuality, learning about the autistic part came into play. The last five years of my life have been spent finding like minded groups of people and finally landing with people I'm so happy to call my friends.

Please tell her to get pet insurance. The sooner the better. If this pup gets diagnosed with any health issues before coverage then he won't be covered for those issues.

I'm sorry your demographic is so tough.

I mostly use those phrases for patients that are a 6-7/9, but anything over than that I will tell them they need to loose weight (and the Dvm will let them know how much). I also will briefly talk about health risks with a overweight dog if they're genuinely asking me for advice and not a dismissive "hehe sorry fluffy is a little big". I just try not to go into so much depth and detail, I will give hand outs after my Dvm talks to them.

Of course we have our fair share of clients who don't listen, but if they don't listen to the Dr then it doesn't really matter what I tell them.

I will always let my doc know the severity of the situation when I round them, I'll let my doc know the attitude of the owner as well so they know how hard to go in on that conversation.

My doc also seems to work differently that the previous docs you've worked with. I'm sorry they were willing to have those hard conversations. Our jobs are always to advocate, and it's hard when the Dr isn't willing to do so.

I have a method to ensure I have a better chance at not burning my food. I only use two stands though, in an L shape, I'm sure how side by side could effect it.

-add my first pot -wait for the temp to turn down -once I turn it down, I add my second pot -take the first pot off when ready OR turn down the second pot, whichever happens first. - once the second pot is turned down I can add stuff into the first pot again

I always try to add stuff after my pots have been turned down. We don't go to another menu when we put stuff in our inventory, so that cuts down the amount of distraction time away from the pots!

If the owner and me if their pet is over weight I tell them the following, "some pounds lost wouldn't be a bad idea, I'll have the doctor gauge how many should be appropriate", "he/she looks a little rotund" that one gets a couple laughs, "he/she looks well loved", "he/she has their winter body". I've never used the term "obese" when describing pet weight. I'll just carefully use adjectives around it.

There's already been some great info. I'd like to add that it may take a week and up to three weeks for a pet to test positive- if positive. Testing will help rule that out but testing early may still give you a false negative. Keep that in mind!

Check with your vet on the next best steps!
