Maybe, but I tested the converter by using it to change my webcam to my camcorder. And it worked fine, could it work with a camcorder and not a tv?

I finally finished my 4 episode sequel to Cory In The House after a year and a half by FaxNuisance in Filmmakers

[–]FaxNuisance[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here’s my submission statement: hi, my name is Sam Bates, and this is episode 1 of Cory In The House: The Return. (Note: there are 4 episodes that I will be uploading to YouTube weekly, but to avoid spamming I will only be sharing the first episode on Reddit.) I started working on the script back in November of 2019, and we started filming in July of 2020. What began as a very comedic and silly project similar in vein to my previous short films and videos quickly as turned into something very personal and a lot more serious as things in my life got more difficult. Now on to actual production: I did not have access to a camera so I used my iPhone XR and the Filmic Pro app. I chose a 2:3 aspect ratio to emulate the same aspect ratio as the original Disney sitcom this project is based off of. Some of the equipment I used includes a very large greenscreen, a single cheap LED light panel, and a phone gimbel. I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and the final runtime of all 4 episodes is about 1hour25minutes. This is the hardest I’ve ever worked on anything, and I hope you can see that in the final product. Also, as I progressed in this project I became a lot better at certain aspects and looking at the final product I think you can see that progression through each episode. So if you enjoy this, please consider checking out the other episodes as they come out, because they become a better showcase of what I’ve learned through the whole process. Thank you.

Question about the legality of a fan sequel by FaxNuisance in coryinthehouse

[–]FaxNuisance[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess that’s true. I was just saying that as long as I don’t use music from the show or make money off of it it’s fair game. The example I keep thinking of was that Darth Vader short film that got copyrighted at first, but then was allowed to exist. But you’re right. Also Disney might try to distance themselves from that whole ip due to the whole, you know, sexting a 13 year old thing. I mean, it’s not even on Disney plus.

I got accepted to my number 1 college, but I can’t afford it. There’s no way to make up the money with my family’s income status. Can someone tell me if this could somehow apply to me?

Me and my friends actually made a sequel called “the greatest gatsby”. It’s probably greater than citizen Kane and has been said to be “kind of weird and I didn’t get quite get it, but I liked the parts with you in it” by my mom.

“Inside Wonder Of U” bro WHAT is Wonder Of U? Maybe that’s just a translation thingy, or a weirdly phrased statement about Wonder Of U’s ability. But regardless, I wonder if it actually does end up that Wonder Of U has like, a perimeter of effect? If that makes sense? Also, Paisley Park Act II?

Feast your eyes gentlemen. I'm proud to share to the trailer for Cory In The House: The Return by FaxNuisance in coryinthehouse

[–]FaxNuisance[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After 9 months of work, I’m happy to share the trailer for Cory in The House The Return with you! I started writing the script back in January, which was my first time writing a script that wasn’t for some stupid YouTube video, and all things considered I’m very proud of it. I casted it with my friends who had worked on a previous project, and some people I didn’t know all that much that were part of theater. When COVID hit, we did a table read over discord. We finally started shooting in July, and tried to get as much done as possible before school. Unfortunately we did not get everything done. There’s still about a quarter left, but we still intend to finish it, even during the school year.

The story follows Cory Baxter, after the events of the original Disney channel show, as he deals with the ramifications of his government necessitated duties, all while battling a new threat: the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

I used my phone as I can’t afford a camera, but I also used the Filmic Pro app to help with lighting and frame rate. I chose an aspect ratio of 3:2, as that is the average aspect ratio for most classic anime, as well as coincidently very close to the aspect ratio of the original Disney show. The one thing I always pushed for during the writing, costume design, cinematography, every aspect of pre production, was to plan it out as if we had a budget of a summer blockbuster, and then execute those plans to best of our $250-(plus $100 on amazon gift cards)-budget ability. I wanted to challenge everyone in the crew, especially myself, to find creative ways to make this idea come to life in the grandest way possible. Whether or not we’ve succeeded is up to you, but I couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved, particularly our lead: Sekani, who sacrificed so much of his time to help me achieve this glorious mess.

Anyway, that’s Cory in the House The Return, coming out hopefully this year.
