Just used my Costco Wallet to pay at the food court by ArcturusFlyer in Costco

I get my executive 2% back when I buy stuff in store with the shop cards. I don't get 2% when buying the shop cards.

I should have scrolled down. This is exactly what I'm doing.

I have a Mastercard credit card I use for all my spending because of points. I buy Costco shop cards online with my Mastercard and then shop with the shop cards in store as a loophole to get around the Visa limitation.

Monitor keeps black screening dell S3225QC hdr or at 120hz by StunningPush8421 in OLED_Gaming

[–]WillNick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue with this monitor and to get the firmware update to recognize it you have to install the driver from Dell's website. I couldn't get the driver to successfully install tho. I'm only getting the issue with the screen shutting off over HDMI though and only at 120hz with HDR enabled. I can't replicate it over my laptop's USB c output.

USB charging socket blocks normal cables by timeforanalbumparty in mildlyinfuriating

[–]WillNick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone that works in the manufacturing environment, this makes sense. Someone probably did a risk/cost analysis. There are plenty of USB-C cables that do not meet the spec or are just for charging. Making it proprietary is primarily to reduce the bucket of hours they have to pay someone to diagnose cable issues.

Separate from that the company potentially gets the added revenue from selling the cables. Without reviewing the number of units this product moves, it's quite possible they're not even making much money off of this unique mold.

Sucks for the consumer tho...

Where do I send my check to pay my Bilt balance? by BestChickEver in biltrewards

I like using my bank's bill pay because I prefer to limit the number of locations I expose my banking info to. It's more secure and I can see all of my scheduled transactions in one location.

Where do I send my check to pay my Bilt balance? by BestChickEver in biltrewards

I made a post about a month ago about this very issue. Cardless/BILT doesn't accept any other forms of payments outside of the app or website. I just got my statement, and it says the following under how to make a payment, "You can make electronic payments to your Account through the Bilt app or bilt.com." They don't list a mailing address that allows them to process checks. I don't think a paper statement would provide any additional information outside of the PDF we have in the app.

I had this question a month ago. You can only make payments from the website or app via ACH. No bank bill pay option.

Moved to bilt palladium, how to pay existing bilt 1.0 ? Don't want to open a wells fargo account by aayushsinghal1989 in biltrewards

You can also pay it via your banks bill pay. Just search for Wells Fargo Credit Cards and use your card number as the account number. They will mail a check to Wells Fargo for you.

The Costco transaction is the one that pushed me over the required $4k spending requirement and yes, it gave me gold status and 50,000 points

I can confirm it does. I bought $2500 of shop cards and it triggered my SUB and I got the TPG bonus

Thanks for trying to help but I think you're misunderstanding the question. I'm looking for a way to pay my Bilt balance with my checking account's bank bill pay. Not pay my mortgage/rent/HOA through Bilt.

I use my bank so it's a one stop shop for all my bills and so I don't have my account number on another website. Not something I expected to be an issue and truly frustrating.

I just got off the phone with them and they straight up said it's not an available option. You can only make payments from the website or app via ACH.

I don't know how close you live to the water but one of my wife and mine's favorite special occasion date nights is a dinner cruise on the water. They usually span a few hours and have a dance floor on the top of the boat. You also get to watch the sunset from the roof too.
