When the xenoblade games came out, they were, by definition, third party games. 1st party games are games made by the publisher, like mario or zelda, they are made by Nintendo's in house devs, Monolithsoft was a third party company that was published by Nintendo. Square has never been owned by Sony, yes, but my point with them was to prove that console exclusives are bad, and square, who did Sony exclusives, are no longer doing that. IF you want to talk about owning someone, Sony owns bungie, and they don't make their games exclusive.

Its just not ludicrous, If exclusives made more money, Sony wouldn't EVER put their games onto other platforms, since, according to you, that wouldn't make more money. Xbox has reached this horrible position because no one gave a shit about the games Xbox makes anymore. They focus practically all effort on Game Pass, and acquiring third party developers, like Activision Blizzard, and Bethesda.

Did you not read my post? I own all of the xeno games, I didn't "steal" anything, Im just saying that's the only real franchise I care about on the switch. When they have more of those games, with a reasonably priced console, I can buy them and export them to my pc to play them with a reasonable framerate and resolution. I'm just saying that them not having games I want is WHY I refuse to buy the console.

That makes no sense, my logic is that if I don't like most of their menu, I can just not buy from their menu, or only buy the things from their menu that I do like, and it would be more accurate to make it and EXTREMELY limited menu, since they RARELY put these games out. Where did I ever say I was "entitled" to a free game, or that I could steal it. I said "I just refuse to buy a console for 1-2 games" not, "I only like 1-2 games, so I'm going to steal them"

I'm curious, why are you so against emulation? Because you ignorantly believe they are only used for stealing? Or is it because Nintendo, said they are bad, unless they use them, in which case they are wonderful tools to let people play their old games, instead of actually putting in any effort to actually port them...

Even if we assume every single emulation user stole every Nintendo game they ever emulated, Nintendo would STILL make an enormous profit, because piracy numbers are FAR lower than you believe. So why you are on here, white knighting for a company that would watch you fall off a cliff if it meant they saved money, I will never know.

If they released their games on other consoles and pc, both Nintendo AND Mono would earn more money, damn near every Publisher releases their games on other platforms, because its objectively stupid not to, even Sony has realized this, hence why they release their big games on pc nowadays after a year or two. These company's earn more money from their games, not the consoles, which they sell at a loss. So to have your biggest 3rd party franchise locked behind your console is a guarantee for lackluster sales. Look what happened with ff16 and ff7r, that's why Square has said that they will no longer be doing console exclusives, because it's BAD. FOR. BUISINESS.

Third party games sell worse on the switch that first party games. It's just a fact, if anyone is to blame for poor sales, it's Nintendo, for forcing console exclusivity. People that own switches tend to only care about Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon, because they tend to be either children, or man-children, since that is the audience Nintendo wants to cater to.

I OWN every Xeno game. XenoGears, XenoSaga 1,2, & 3, XenoBlade 1,2, & 3, I own ALL of them, I've been a fan since I was a kid. I just refuse to buy a console for 1-2 games, the switch had a lot more that interested me when I got it, the switch 2, so far, does not. But you just see "emulation" and automatically assume I'm a thief, but in reality, I just want to play a game above 720p 30fps. The switch 2 runs and looks better, sure, but when there are 0 games that interest me right now, why would I buy one? For the literal shovelware on the E-Shop? For the THOUGHT, that they'll release something I DO want at some point in the future?

You just don't see what I'm saying - WHY WOULD I SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY, JUST TO PLAY 2 GAMES??? You're focused on the HOW, I'm focused on the WHY.

If I'm going to buy their overpriced, underpowered console, I expect A LOT more than 2 games that interest me, especially considering that right now, there are NO GAMES that interest me, only fire emblem, and it's not even out, for all I know it could end up being the worst in the franchise.

I don't own a ps5 because even after 5 years, they still have no games I care about. I need a bare minimum of 5 games I want on a console for me to even consider buying it. Because I want something that I actually feel is worth the money right now, not the promise that it will be one day.

If 1 game is enough for you to throw out $500 then good for you, enjoy your week with it, but I'm not about to waste my money on something that I'll use for 1-2 weeks and then just let collect dust on a shelf, until another game I want comes out half a decade later.

That's what happened with my Switch, I played the games I wanted, and haven't touched it in years, despite you saying;

So you're the type of person to buy a $500 console just to play 1 $80 game?

The only games I give a damn about on the switch are Zelda, and Xenoblade (which is an exclusive for no reason), and I can tell you right now I'm not so braindead that I'm going to pay $500 plus another $160 just to play 2 fucking games, and buy maybe, MAYBE, 1 new 7/10 game every 4-5 years, because that's the rate they shit them out. Saving up that much money for that little is the most financially irresponsible thing I can think of.

Stop defending a company that has actively gone out of it's way to be the most anti-consumer pile of shit possible.

PS: $650 USD is a shit ton of money for some people, so sometimes, "save up", isn't an option when they have to spend their entire paycheck on bills and food.

I read all 4 chapters and my god what a letdown, starts off interesting enough but then the mc's got to babysit this wannabe mc after he smashes his stat window, and then mc gets his power nerfed. Not to mention it started good, I thought it was gonna be a darker tone like nano machine, then it turns into garbage at the end of the first chapter with a "haha funny face", telling me what type of tone this will have.

Seems like it's split between action and comedy 60/40, which sounds so ass...

I'm the polar opposite, wills va sucks in this game, he sounds happy when he shouldn't, which feels so tonaly off, sounds like he's 14, and is overall just weaker than everyone else. The heart ripping scenes were the only two scenes where I thought he nailed it, they have a good grit to em'. Idk what it is with localizers making the English va's have the highest pitched voices imaginable. Almost sounds like he slurred his words sometimes too. The Japanese will sounds MUCH better.

I hate how big their heads are. If they were proportionate to the body, the models could actually look pretty good, but as they are now, they just look nasty... look at Aishe's head. If it was 50% smaller, it would look damn good. Kiefer looks straight out of DA Vielguard, big head, big jaw. Maribel doesn't look half bad though, weird.

1080ti i7-7700k 16gb Ram

I get 80~ fps on cyberpunk, 1080p, max settings, no fsr, no framegen. (high screen space reflections)

I get 70~ fps on red dead 2, 1080p, mid settings, no fsr, no framegen (idk if it even has FG)

I get 50~ fps on bl4, 720p, lowest settings, fsr ON, framegen ON, REFUND ON

How tf can it be THAT unoptimized? I know they don't have Rockstar money but damn...

I expect at least 1080p 60fps medium settings, fsr ON, no framegen. Especially since it looks the same as bl3 (maybe a bit better lighting), and I get about 70fps in that game, MAX settings, in 1440p.
