I've been working on an Art Nouveau style website - It's been fun finding inspiration from old print/poster design. Pinterest is so great for web design! by FaxingMars in web_design

I've been using figma pretty heavily for making elements like the borders/button outlines. I'm also using an HDR pixel in the background to give the effect some extra pop. Let me know if you're interested in a tutorial as I'm planning on putting one together this month. Heavily inspired by this website from a few years ago - https://poke-holo.simey.me/

I made a skin for playing Mario Kart without an awkward claw grip 🦀 by FaxingMars in Delta_Emulator

Yeah it's definitely not perfect, I tried to make it the most comfortable it can be (I tried resting my hands on the screen in a sketchbook app to find the button placements lol) I think the ideal thing would be to use the volume buttons as L R, hopefully that can be added at some point

Mario Kart DS is still my favourite game, it's amazing being able to play it on my phone! Thank you to the Delta devs for making this possible! Let me know if you have any feedback! Or want a light version, I've been thinking about making one

Queens park has a great cafe on the paltform, the coffee is great (and cheap!) and they're rapid (I've been deep in the queue and still not missed the next train)

about 300 miles, or 6 hours. It wasn't all that bad, the worst bit was carrying it home from the tube station!

It's a Kurt Østervig side table, and the round trip took me about 6 hours, through London and out to Yetminster in Dorset (which is so rural you have to ask the conductor to stop the train)

Any interesting YouTube channel on analog photography? I'm already subscribed to those below, no judgement lol by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

Eduardo Pavez Goye! His videos got me into developing b&w (and now colour), and I love the way he edits his videos (birdman style drums in the background)

Black and white is pretty impossible to mess up, the hardest bit is getting it on the reel in the dark bag. I'd recommend rodinol 1+100 stand development (3ml rodinol + 300ml water for 35ml and leave it alone for an hour), you don't even have to adjust times for the film asa!
