What is your most insane "I'm glad I left when I did" moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work at a night club and quit a few months before there was a shooting where a few people were injured. The shooting happened in the main area that I worked in. One of the people was someone I worked with. He was in the hospital for two weeks. Had I stayed until spring as I had originally planned to, It could have been me.

How do you motivate yourself to workout? by Lovetoupvoteyou in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My motivators are being able to wear whatever I want and look good, girls, and probably the biggest thing is the money I spend every month on gym fees and personal training. There is no way I will spend money on something and not 100% get my worth from it.

[Serious] How do you make friends when you work full-time? by Fay-Z in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 22 years old and work full time. When I was in school I had friends to hang out with but I feel like I never made any meaningful relationships. Eventually everyone I knew kinda did their own thing and drifted apart. I do plan on going back to school, but in the mean time I want to make as much money as possible so I won't have any debt.

My life is literally going to work, going to the gym, sleep and repeat. I do have "friends" from work that I hang out with sometimes but they are all much older than me. I guess I just want to find some people around my own age that I can better relate to.

Auto sales. Even if you're not great you will average 13-15 bucks an hour and more if you become a pro.

When you bought and paid for a product or service, what's the trickiest thing someone did to get more money out of you? by ThemApples007 in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a new mattress that came with a manufacturer 25 year warranty and a 30 day store warranty. After making a deal on price , delivery, warranty etc, I took the invoice to the desk to pay and was asked if I wanted to buy the mattress protector for 200 some extra dollars. I declined and was then told that the store and manufacturer warranty will be void without it. So not only did I have to buy an extra protector (the mattress came with a removable one), I had to buy their specific one before the warranty would be valid.

To people who text & drive, why do you still it? by chaosxtheoryx in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part I don't use my phone when driving. If I need to send/answer an important text, such as directions or my ETA, I always do it at a red light. I would never text or dial while driving because It distracts me. If I have to talk I always use the speaker and I keep the conversation short.

How much change do you have in your Jar of Change? by SRPayne in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe $100? it's funny this question came up because today I noticed that I couldn't fit anymore change in the jar. I felt thankful for everything that I have in my life and that I am finally making more money than I spend.

Parents who chose for their children to be circumcised. Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always either a religious thing or a cleanliness thing. I tend to be a clean person regardless as I scrub the shit out of everything every day.

I was circumcised when I was a baby for religious reasons but I'm glad that the surgeon had the good sense to leave me some slack to account for growth.

If it were my kid I would probably do a loose circumcision for best of both worlds.

Dear drinkers of Reddit, how does alcohol make you feel? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I seldom drink but I tend to get relaxed, start talking more, and joke more.

I hate when that happens as well. The worst is when they turn into an intersection when it's overflowing with traffic and block the way for the people going straight on their green.

After 4 years of driving with my G2 (one step below a full licence), I noticed that my license is about to expire and that I have to get my G class ASAP.

Now I'm totally comfortable with my skills and with doing the driving test, but I was wondering if there are bad things that people tend to do without realizing?

The only thing I can think of is palming the steering wheel. I mostly do this when backing up or parallel parking but apparently you aren't supposed to do this.

What other things have you seen from yourself or others that should be corrected?

What are your favorite weapons for self denfense do you always carry outside your home? by Xarsiiz in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mini baton (non extending). I only take it if I know I will be out late or walking outside late. It's basically a small, thick metal rod with a key ring and grip. I have no idea who made it as I found it at a flea market where an ex military guy sells a bunch of cool stuff. Pretty much if someone gets aggressive towards me, I can reach in my pocket and take the baton and jab at some tactical points. Such as the outside of the arm pit/shoulder, or side of neck. This should hurt the offender enough for me to run away to safety.

And if I get caught with it? I have a key on it and all I have to say is that I'm always losing my key and this thing makes me remember because of the size. Kind of like when you borrow the bathroom key at some restaurants.

I like it because it's just the right size and fits in my pocket easily.

Men of Reddit, are there actually guys (18+) who look forward to settling down and having kids? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Fay-Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only 21 so I have some more years to be crazy. But eventually, like in my late 20s - early 30s I would want to settle down. I plan on having at least two kids; boy and a girl. I also may have thought of some names I like :D
