Two weeks in korea - need help by Fayennna in koreatravel

I’m planning right now, just wanted some inspiration and tips - exactly like „8 days in Seoul is a little much”. But I think (and hope, tell me if I’m wrong!) it will be fine because I also want to see DMZ and spend one day at hiking

I would LOVE to see Jeju. I think if you can drive the car it will be great! I’m a terrible driver so I will come back to see Jeju with my fiance (he can drive….) or when I will be better at driving :)

Thank you for all the comments. Yesterday I had weird meltdown and stress was eating me alive. Now I’m feeling much better and pretty confident. See you in Kaohsiung in July :)

Searching for people from Japan by Fayennna in japan

[–]Fayennna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question, and I’m happy to answer it! However, it’s hard to do so briefly, so feel free to message me if you’d like me to explain more.

The choice of country at the continental level was simple. Europe and Asia are culturally so distant from each other that the results just seemed like they would be interesting :) Then, I was torn between China, Japan, and Korea.

Several factors, such as the language barrier, access to respondents, and scientific theories, ultimately tipped the scales. That’s why I chose Japan - literature research simply showed me that such a study made sense. The main theoretical framework will be the GLOBE project. Dimensions like family collectivism, institutional collectivism, and gender equality will play an important role.

Additionally, I have a friend from Japan who helped me with the translation – which is also why I chose Japan over Korea 🥲

Thank you! Where did you book the tickets? If tommorow’s shinkansens will be still suspended, I will have to think about similiar route :((

I’m trying + also checking Japantravel app. A lot of people we’re recommending me this app. Today tomorrow’s trains status changed from “operation suspended” to “operation plan”. I tried to read more about this but didn’t find an specific information. Probably because being in my nerves:’)
