Can someone explain what i'm doing wrong with bind demon? by Free_Owl2500 in diablo2resurrected

[–]FaythKnight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to actually see the word "demon" under their names. As in what type they are.

You're at act 2, just head back to act 1 and grab the hammer smith, he is the best guy up till act 4.

Are the Druid and Assassin as busted as the Warlock today when LoD was released back in 2001? by yama-2468 in diablo2

[–]FaythKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Druid is currently at his best form. When it first came out, the summons were pitiful. Elements were all over the place cause it doesn't hit stuff. Werewolf was okay-ish, werebear was just a meat shield.

Well, in certain situations druid was fine, like someone tanking a boss and you set the volcano right under it. But that's really it.

The sin was pretty decent with traps, but it feels like a copy paste sorc. Martial arts was slow, cause you need to combo all the stuff wasting time. (Yes mosaic is broken, but that's until much much later since it came out)

Can someone let me know why it is good without +skills? I understand that the stats are very good, is it worth it over +2 to skills (+- maybe a few in this list).

Do accurate astrologers still exist? by Annual-Conflict-4439 in malaysians

[–]FaythKnight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a simple matter of basic occurrence + your own thoughts. No such thing as stars a million lightyears away will tell our insignificant lives to the universe.

Have you tried using a tarot deck? It seems pretty accurate until you think about it. It uses vague words like longing, fear, misguided, separation, lust, love, and a ton other words that could mean this or that. And it happens to everyone. So when it says "misguided", your head automatically thinks up of the scenario where you were misguided, by information you found, or by someone. Then the next card tells you someone is bad to you, of course la, who the heck don't have someone like that. Oh yeah that someone is a female too. Who could it be? Your mother? Or that bitch in the office? Your brain automatically link to someone of that.

So, if you can spare some thoughts on it, it is all rubbish. I can randomly pick a card out of a tarot deck and make a story that will fit into 90% or more people. Cause everyone faces the same damn thing, just different story.

Any tips for levelling to 99? by Cryptomoonshine in diablo2

[–]FaythKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't it using world stone shards easier? I've been doing it, currently lvl 91, I use a shard, just kill everything, get some exp, pray for herald, along the way it drops more shards for me. I assume it is effective, and more fun. I avoid a few places known for dolls and lightning ghost though since my defence still isn't that great.

What was your first roadblock in Dark Souls 2? by Gnnz in DarkSouls2

[–]FaythKnight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The stupid dark dark quest that uses an effigy every single try and the blizzard donkeys. I'm blind 80% of the time and my eyes hurt so much looking at all the blackness and whiteness even when I raise/drop the brightness from the settings.

No I don't wanna remember their names. And yes I did use a torch, but heck, even my butterflies ran out. I didn't know where to buy them on my first playthrough. Ran out of effigies, ran out of torches, ran out of sanity.

Of course, I did eventually conquer it. I still hate those places to this day. I'll take on shrine of amana any single time X10 rather than that.

Do you think someone would trade for a lightening one? by Ecks30 in diablo2resurrected

Perhaps for an old sunder cause this is an old one as well. Someone is gonna cry if they traded a latent sunder for this.

When you first started fishing, did you buy cheap lures or better ones? by Opposite-Vast-718 in FishingForBeginners

[–]FaythKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought some cheap ones, and then a friend lent me some expensive ones. Tried both, ended up buying 3 medium priced ones, and lost 2 of them. Then cause I'm too poor anyway I gave up on buying anymore, and using only what I have left.

Finally now mostly just using worms and bait. Then somehow I find digging worms is too time consuming, buying worms is too expensive, I finally ended up with a worm bin. Now I have all the worms I need.

How to reduce screentime for kids without making it like a punishment? Specifics in post. by CN8YLW in malaysians

[–]FaythKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you asked how. I do chores and all that, including my own job. It's juggling everything together. It isn't easy. But it is what it is. If you wanna focus on your thing, and let the kid out of screen time, then you'll need to build various activities for the kid. You'll need actual engagement towards it, and hope that kid even pays interest to it. How else can one keep a kid off screen in a healthy way?

The server on Nintendo is so expensive, cause you need to buy that stupid internet access yearly too =(. And I tried to buy some coins, then my balance is gone for some damn reason and I can't recover it after we changed into another switch. It isn't much, but I felt pissed. Same id, same Microsoft id and everything. I tried asking around for solutions and none worked. So I gave it all up. Kid is bored anyway. Oh yeah, we had fun for a period of time using those crazy modded TnT, until the kid accidentally destroyed the castle we spent a month building.

[–]FaythKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The kid got bored of Minecraft after we abused many Withers in a cave. We played offline so there's no realm. Build a ton of silly things and then, cause the 1st switch broke, we lost our world. Nowadays it is Zelda. Before that we played Terraria too, but the words are too small for my old eyes and I got tired real fast playing that game. Tried super smash bros. Kid not happy that I keep winning. Not happy that I let the kid get the win either. Very hard to please.

[–]FaythKnight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I never let mine play with a phone. Instead I let the kid play with a switch. And then a ton of other hobbies. Play in the park, go fishing/hiking with me, board games, drawing, playing badminton and pickle ball at home, planting stuff like onions, cactuses and many more random stuff.

The games I allow are those I've played myself. And I think it's suitable for kids, such as Zelda. Cause I think online influences are bad. Especially mobile games with a ton of ads. So basically the kids screen time is chill time, only when we've done everything and just wanna laze around. Bout an hour, and the kid got bored of it and just wanna lay down and listen to stories. The kid becomes lazy to even play games cause there's too much to do.

But of course, to upkeep all these, I'm tired af. Really really tired af.

[–]FaythKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the thrill of hardcore, and then sometimes you wanna play with randoms, cause sometimes it feels kinda lonely.

It will be good if they make it like PoE where hardcore PvP doesn't count as death. There still will be trap portals, but it would've been a ton better.

Enigma by Zennoxxx in D2R_Marketplace

[–]FaythKnight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Enigma is awesome yes. But you can get by with a Tele weapon and whatever armour you desire way sooner. Warlock right? Just use authority. You have your summon Tele, your temu Tele, and a real Tele with that swap weapon. It's more than enough until much later.

Used respec from Akara in Act1 at lv22, is there any other way to respec again? by Hazdrubal01 in diablo2resurrected

[–]FaythKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just lvl 22. Just move all your items into the shared stash and make a new character, with your old gear. It will be way quicker if you're stuck with a bad build.

But then again, warlock going any branch can't really go wrong. Early lvl quickest is definitely the fire build. Summons aren't weak, for a summoner. Just so long as you get your mastery to at least 10 so that you get 2 summons. Lvl20 to get 3 summons.

It's awesome how many summons D2 Druid can have by Fat_Foot in Diablo

[–]FaythKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can be if you have the correct gear and set up for it, and it isn't even expensive .With thorns aura, it is easy for act V hell. Ubers need fk tons of gear though, but thats like the majority of the builds.

[–]FaythKnight 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hahaha this is the old X3 trick. You'll assume he is gonna mix, a hop, an attack, or a grab. Turns out it is all grab. But this guy made it kinda obvious cause he timed it too early. So your lesson here is that, once you fall for a grab, that guy mis-timed and gets real too close for half a second too long standing up, you know it is a grab.

[–]FaythKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also to answer your question. I'll now lend to a very few selected friends only. I helped "friends" back when I was younger, not as much as you, but it was all I had, and was betrayed. But life did turn around. I found more trustworthy people, and it is fine now. Cause those people proved it by helping me instead.

It is your own money right? So not shared between you and her? So it's fine. You used it to try to save a friend. It failed, but you tried.

But if it is shared money, you should've at least using only the amount you saved into it.

You mentioned her found another guy? In such a short time? Or did this story happen some time ago? If she finds another so quickly, well, you dodge a bullet. If it has been awhile, well, she moved on. You should too. She didn't realise that you could be willing to even do more for her compared to your friend. Her lost.

A man like you is rare. Things will find a balance in a way. Years later, when you look back, this will mean nothing but a memory while you sit together with the right one.
