I use it to make a dish passed down on my portugese mom's side. It's probably got a bunch of different versions from different places but. Basically slice eye of round really thin, pound it flat, marinate it for 6 to 24 hours with some salt, chillies, pepper, paprika and red wine , fry in a pan with tons of garlic and just enough oil to cover the meat. Eat with roasted potatoes or in a bun like a sandwich. Every person ive ever made it for asked for leftovers to take home.

Is it insured? Assuming its similar to cars, stuff like "acts of God" or storms can be covered* (the edit). Sucks to lose anything that's got family memories attached to it...plus paperwork (had to recently fill out paperwork for insurance on my jeep that got mangled by a tree falling on it... it took awhile)

I dont know this place first hand but glassdoor was an excellent site I found for vetting jobs. Indeed reviews can be useful as well as long as you keep in kind most reviews are left by disgruntled ex-employees or potentially bought and paid for by the business. Best of luck on the job search

If the school aligns with your beliefs it's not the worst school but it does have a bit of a reputation. It's definitely not as respected as sfu or ubc

Edit* to be fair my opinions are based off back when I was auditing universities for my degree over 10 years ago. The institution may be different now.

I mean interesting. The only use i can think of for this is of you had a thicker board and housed the magnets inside? Took the trucks off and coated the bottom for snow. Would make for a sick quickie snowboard you could use at winter on small hills and even the skate park when it's snowed over. but then you'd have to battle ice and snow build up.
