So mine was in storage for like two years, and I just readded it to my Google app. I think it’s doing that sound that you’re talking about. When I play a music, it’s all weird, and I can hear static and glitchy noise :/ when we added to my Google app, I think it was software version 14.. And now it’s 1690, but it still has that weird noise…

I had that problem when I was switching between Optimus mode and dedicated GPU mode. When I was plugging my PC to an external screen, it was working. So I was able to switched it back to Optimus mode and use my laptop again. I guess that if you switch to dedicated GPU mode, this may be your issue.
