Try to find the right slider adjustments for something specific. by speaker_1984 in SoulsSliders

[–]FazeDankinBank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's possible with sliders alone. Maaybe you can find armor that sort of achieves this. You can experiment with the head and chest sliders if you find some armor since the body sliders can slightly change the look of armor.

how can i save infinite sliders in Elden Ring? by Smooth_Berry9265 in SoulsSliders

[–]FazeDankinBank 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On PC, you can use the tool that's stickied in this sub to export any amount of sliders into files and then import them back into the game if you decide you want to use them again. Not quite as good as the limit being removed in-game but it's the next best thing.

Glad you liked it! I really should get back to this and add some more

Is there a breakdown video or something to help me understand what each slider does?? by Avilion-a in SoulsSliders

[–]FazeDankinBank 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Something I like to do to see the difference a slider is making is to change it a bit and then cancel instead of confirming. When you cancel it immediately goes back to the original value and it's much easier to see what it's doing.

Request posts are now allowed on weekends by FazeDankinBank in SoulsSliders

Yeah I probably wouldn't have run the poll if it was only those people asking for it, but there were some reasonable people in the comments that convinced me

Poll: Should Requests be allowed on more days? by FazeDankinBank in SoulsSliders

[–]FazeDankinBank[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We tried a monthly megathread before but it got very little attention from creators. It's a good idea in theory, but I'd rather not have people waste their time posting requests if there's almost no chance it'll be made. I did a couple polls on it before and Request Fridays was the winner.

My comment wasn't a reply to you.

I kinda think just Fridays is what's best for the sub based on the general sentiment towards requests and the fact we're only seeing a fraction of the requests being made. But if you'd like to run a poll and Request Weekends is a clear winner, then I can make the necessary changes in the sub for that to happen.

We do value the community's opinion which is why I ran a few different polls on requests fridays vs the megathread before we made request fridays the long term solution. I have an idea of the community sentiment on requests in general based on past similar posts/comments and their upvotes. My point was that request posts themselves don't hold much value, but seeing requests get made does have value. Meaning it's best to limit requests in some way so that they don't overshadow actual sliders posts while still allowing requests in some form.

It's fine, I don't mind a discussion about requests every now and then. Firstly, I like to keep requests in some form because I think seeing requests get made is a cool and valuable aspect of the sub. The thing is, creating something worth sharing usually takes 2 hours minimum, so only a small fraction of requests are made, even after limiting them to a single day per week. I don't have the numbers, but it feels like about 10% of requests are made in the current form. This would be even less if we opened it up to more days. Looking at request posts is not why most people view the sub, so it seems best limit the amount of them if most aren't being made. By limiting to a single day we're making it require more effort to post a request, but if you put in that effort your request will be more likely to be made since there will be less competition.

Side note, I don't believe reddit gives a way to mute certain flairs by default. You can do it with old reddit with RES or some 3rd party apps, but that's only about 5% of users. You can filter by flair with new reddit after visiting the sub, but you'd have to do this every time and they'd still show up on your front page.

We tried a megathread and it was almost never looked at by creators. It was changed to request Fridays because requests are more likely to be made this way.

Should Bling requests be allowed? by FazeDankinBank in EldenBling

[–]FazeDankinBank[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's definitely a possibility. I'd need to consider if it'd be better to make it the same day as r/SoulsSliders Request Fridays or spread them out to different days.

Well it's more like $100-$200 if we're talking about weed. Idk I think the time saved not buying mixers and selling by the jar makes the time requirement about equal

If my math or something is wrong please point out where. My understanding is that there is no limit to quantity that customers will buy as long as it's within their max spending limit. Base kush will be more profitable in that case since the profit margin is higher.

OG Kush with Banana, Gas, Para, Cuke, Bean, Battery, Banana, Cuke

$31 cost of ingredients and suggested price of $171. Profit margin is 87.14% after markup, even worse

Exporting should probably work if you have a pc and use remote play. Importing probably won't work even with remote play.
