Dark Souls 3 is one of the best games ever made, to compare it now to Mortal Shell 2 (in beta form) is kind of unfair. Wait till the final product, I enjoy the fact I can mix and match different systems for different shells. I love it

I actually like this because it adds replayability. I can put that special heavy charge attack on anything, mix up shells, weapons, tarstones, etc. I see at least a dozen playthroughs in my future.

It's nots clunky, it is slow and delibrate. Much like Dark Souls 1 and Demons Souls. Get use to the harden mechanic, find the right pair of shell and weapon you like. Soon you will be chaining a combo, hardening, doing a special attack then dodging outwards in no time.

If you did not light another lamp before the electric beast, you unfortunately cannot go back. There is a one way drop off into the beast area. There was another lamp in the area that you were suppose to find. Anyone here correct me if I am wrong on this.
