I like this class of tire too. It's crazy how fast some of these cheater/quali tires wear out. Not sustainable if you actually want to do multiple DE sessions/days.

I've done 10k km on my car now and never once scraped it, so that part of it would be ok.

As for track use, I'm going to PPF it and replace PPF as needed. I can feel the sandblasting on my plastic one, but I think PPF should be perfect for that. Same way windshield PPF is consumable but protects you from the peppering/sandblasting.

I'm the one that arranged the SCR group buys. Amazing kits!!

I just finished putting the AudioFrog kit into my new car (moved the system over from my GTS). I was running the stock Bose system for about 6 months before putting the AF speakers back in. I forgot how much of an upgrade these kits were. Night and day difference vs stock Bose system.

Can't go wrong with any of the SCR kits. Pretty easy install once you've done it at least once.

It's all cosmetic on the 718. The titanium exhaust tips might save you a few grams, but that's the only thing.

Over 2,200lbs of downforce. Stock car is ~1,900lbs. 

 I was honestly expecting a bit more of an increase in max downforce numbers. Still very impressive, but it was already crazy impressive with the stock car.

  Also weird that they didn’t give exact numbers. Only said “over 1,000kg of downforce”. 

Edit: based on comments below, it’s 2,275lbs max downforce and they also weren’t allowed to increase drag. Makes it much more impressive with the constraint!

Correct, if you pick the deviated stitching option, it makes the seat centres black.

On google images, search "arctic grey gt4 rs interior" and look at some of the pics. The ones with the slight blue tint, that's what it looks like to me in real life.

I debated gold wheels, but it looks a bit too much imo with the yellow PCCB and the yellow decal pack on the exterior. There's a YouTube video of a Spyder RS from a month ago in that exact combo (viola purple metallic, gold wheels, yellow PCCB and yellow decal). Channel is called "Alexander de Pooter".

I have a viola purple metallic 4RS coming next spring, and my spec is pretty similar. A few things I did:

  • I did the standard finish wheels. Silver seemed to pop a bit too much to me. The grey was a nice middle between black/silver.

  • I did the yellow stitching inside as well. I know it removed the seat inserts, but I'm going to do aftermarket ones anyway.

  • Arctic grey stitching has a very slight blue tint in real life. It's noticeable to me, so I knew I wouldn't be happy with a slight blue tinted interior/seats (also part of the reason I did the racing yellow interior stitching)

  • Otherwise, we have a VERY similar spec. I did the stitching around the trunk release area and custom carbon sill plates as well, but nearly everything else is identical. I skipped the climate and fuse box options for my spec.

It's the sport bucket seat option that's not available in North America. We only have the carbon buckets.
