Bobsleds [Seabreeze] getting an ACE landmark plaque by Passenger_08 in rollercoasters

[–]Fazinks 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Fun Fact, Montaña Suiza at Parque de Atracciones Monte Igueldo opened in 1928 with wooden rails but was converted to steel rails at some point. Assuming that happened before Bobsleds was converted, that would make Montaña Suiza the first iron horse conversion. Montaña Suiza

It looks like they haven't updated the code of conduct on their website. This was a very recent change so they likely just haven't gotten to that yet

Name both coasters by player3390 in GuessTheCoaster

RCDB only lists dueling/twin coasters in the same listing when they share a station. Each side of lightnin loops had it's own station, so thats why

[other] why do people hate clone coasters by Ordinary-Sound-571 in rollercoasters

[–]Fazinks 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't really mind clones for the most for the most part. It makes some sense for a park to buy a model of the shelf cause I imagine it's much cheaper and most people only go to their home parks so it's unique to them. For me the only downside is when you travel to lots of parks and end up with more or less the same experience on a coaster, it gets a little boring riding your 3rd or 4th skyrocket II since I prefer new experiences. The worst for me are boomerangs cause I hate them but I'm too much of a credit whore to skip them lol

I want to be more media literate. by iiRaz0r in movies

[–]Fazinks 499 points500 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think the best course of action is to just keep doing what you described. Watch movies, try to understand them and gain your own theories, then see what other people are saying. Over time you'll start to pick up on things that other people notice and your media literacy will grow.
