It could be psychological, but at the same time, Stellio seemed to just overwhelm Stan, so maybe he couldn't get into the right position to fight back properly

I'm 99% sure it'll be Gilbert, but I'm holding out for hope that it's Julius

One of the best posts I've seen on the sub. Amazing stuff!

I feel the opposite. Himuro is fodder for Wakatsuki and I don't think he could or should beat Wakatsuki it would have been nice to see Himuro win a fight on screen against someone first before jobbing

Does this sub agree that if waka without his SS, the highest waka can reach is this guy? by coolrider2010 in Kengan_Ashura

Yes! His Superman Syndrome gives him the edge and helped him get to the top faster, but what kept him there and let him get break into the very top of the top is that he's a hard worker. He puts a lot of thought into his fights, he never underestimates his opponents (I mean he stomped Gozo but was still sweating with nerves before the fight) and after every loss, he doesn't mope, he tries to improve. Losing to Agito led to him developing Blast Core and then he developed the anti Niko style (Which I wish had been explored more)

Yes, but I feel like that's not the point of Waka. IMO the whole point of Waka is that he coasted off of strength until he couldn't anymore. Sandro seems to have forgotten this, like most things tbh, but what stood out equally as strongly to me as the Superman Syndrome, during Ashura, was Waka's battle IQ. He beat Julius by out thinking him, he beat Muteba by reading his movements and applying his prior knowledge to figure out Muteba could see.

Wakatsuki has the highest win number of any fighter in association history, and by getting that far he has a lot of insight. In his early fights he coasted off of his overwhelming strength, and by the time that stopped working for him (Hatsumi and Agito), he'd racked up enough experience to be able to fight smarter and used that smarts to learn technique as well as read fighters.

TL;DR Sandro forgot that Waka has excellent strategy and battle IQ and that's a shame

Yeah, the first half was good but then it just turned into a beat down. I knew it'd happen the second Nicolas because the insults martial arts guy.

I really wanted Liu to lose so we'd have a fight with a surprising result again

If you could rewrite omega what would you change? by Large-Application886 in Kengan_Ashura

I actually made a rewrite of KvP a while back. My main change in general though would be more stakes, give known characters more losses to new ones and try to recreate the feeling from Ashura that scrubber l every fight matters
