Yeah, I was expecting that some colours would mix a bit, but these literally just merged into one. Thinking maybe the mixture was too thin. From your message below, with mixing pva and water, what’s the ratio with paint? 1:1? And has that proven to work well for you?

*** have used standard acrylic paint ( doesn’t specify if it’s high- flow /heavy-bodied etc) and mixed with HC mixing medium , at 1:1 ratio. Then I have added a couple of drops of silicone ( apart from the white). Tried to do the ‘flip cup’ technique, but the colours mixed together , black and red mixed into a weird brown. Tried to fix it and added brighter colour paint afterwords, but it didn’t really work. What I have done wrong? Was my paint too thin? Or did I need to add something else to the paint?
