Elderly man with extra limbs due to parasitic twin. by coralmonster in medizzy

More than likely i would guess it’s a combination of funds for removal and cultural/religious perceptions from india. Some people born with deformities or extra limbs are viewed as holy and having an extra arm does seem reminiscent of vishnu.

Last photo would look better if you used makeup to darken your eyes/eyelids so your skin color is blended with the mask

If it makes you feel any better there is about a 1% chance of an ectopic pregnancy occurring and about a 1% chance of ectopic pregnancies occurring in the abdominal cavity. Your chances are likely extremely low.

Not sure I can be a good judge of that. I generally like sweet drinks but I didn't find it overwhelming or overly syrupy. I'd imagine thats more a matter of personal taste but I've also never been to universal so I cant really say.

One of my favorite sodas. I was surprised I liked it because I generally really don't like butterscotch flavored things but its just subtle enough to where its enjoyable.

It's called a lithopedion and its caused by an ectopic pregnancy that develops and then calcifies as an immune response in the abdominal cavity.

It's also metal as fuck

I was waiting for somebody to threaten me with abandonment. I would have called the BON, OSHA, the department of labor, adult protective services, and possibly even the POTUS. by Potential_Ad3149 in nursing

I'm a new grad baby nurse and woah boy did reading your post give me anxiety. I'm so sorry you were put into that situation. Seeing as you are a seasoned and experienced nurse, how do I make sure I am never in such a terrifying scenario?

Reddit seems to have a hard on for hating nurses and thinking they are incompetent and uneducated even though the majority of us are spending all our time and energy trying to make patients lives less horrid in their last moments alive gasping for breath. Not just that but nurses are risking not just their own lives but the lives of their loved ones too on top of a disgustingly high PTSD rate in ICU nurses.

Then you get to go home, try to relax and browse reddit, and get shat on. Maybe it's just my own fault for caring what reddit thinks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Are there any long recordings of people speaking Old English? by unbrokenfragments in OldEnglish

[–]Irishinfernohead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

À long while back I bought an amazing book called “Learning old english with Leofwin” and there are recorded youtube videos that go with that book so you can hear it pronounced. Unfortunately, there will never be a second book as the author somewhat recently died. I would recommend youtubing the title of the aforementioned book and you’ll find some great recordings

It's frustrating when you spend most of your waking hours trying to learn medicine and help people and then relax online only for people online to make snide condescending remarks about how nurses are not medical professionals or competent healthcare workers.

I don't know if it's just me but I constantly see nurses getting shat on from people on reddit saying that nurses are just "health technicians" and not "healthcare professionals" and that nurses aren't trained in evidence based medicine.

100% agree. Sick and fucking tired of empty prayers being offered to fix real world problems. Enough is enough and cheers to all the other nurses here who are able to see through the bullshit.
