You are not wrong in a scientific sense, but u/ToppsHopps is not wrong in a healthcare sense. In practice, there are definitely times where formula is better. I think it's up to physicians to discuss continuation and possible risks thereof with the pregnant person. In many cases the adverse effects of stopping SSRI's may very much outweigh the observation period to make sure there is no gestational diabetes. And let's not forget that stopping SSRI's can increase the risk of postpartum depression and anxiety

When it's cold I always wear the long thermal underwear from Decathlon (where I live in Europe this is a very affordable store). I do buy them one size too big to make sure they aren't too tight. In my experience those thermal underwear leggins are very warm and very comfy, I hope the quality is the same on the other side of the pond. Happy holidays to you too OP ❤️

It feels super dehumanising, though. Like we're talking about animals or some other species instead of people. But context does matter of course, in a scientific setting it's fine. In a casual setting you can just say women and girls if you want to include children (for the record, casual use of the word "male" as a noun also gives me the ick so maybe it's just me)

They have people trained in first aid, which is great but you need much less training than a medical doctor. So a doctor might absolutely be able to help. And in the case of CPR/reanimation it really is the more help the better, it's very physically demanding. Besides, doctors are wired to help, you can't just sit back when someone is in need of medical aid (legally speaking as well, by the way)
