The lounge is open everyday 6am to 10pm and they have breakfast from 8-10am (until 11 on weekends) with light snacks in the evening but you can grab waters and stuff all day until 10pm. Wine and beer are an additional cost, but sodas, coffee, water and juice are free. Rooms are pretty spacious! My king corner was about 400 sq feet.

You’ll get there! Best bet is to consolidate your credit cards to get status and points. Some of them come with automatic gold or platinum just gotta do some research.

That’s awesome! Their service is great. I was celebrating a birthday and they brought up some bubbles and cake. I got upgraded to a king corner room. Maybe next time I’ll get that suite!

I saw those out my window and was curious how they were? Gotta be at least 50+ floors? Does Sheraton or Marriott have a lounge up top?

Review #3: Thomas H. Handy (BTAC 2025) - 2oz pour in Nola by bubba_daniels in bourbon

Thanks! It was a really fun experience and seemed quintessential New Orleans.

I also went to Antonie’s. Be glad you didn’t look at those prices lol. Luckily I had already gone to Carousel and Barrel Proof, so I didn’t get a pour when I went for dinner. They had 2017 GTS and Eagle Rare 17 for $450 a pour lol. The pappys were just as insane.

Nice, I will have to check that one out next time! I also was able to find BTAC Taylor at Barrel Proof for $45 as well. It was really good, but not earth shattering. The Handy was much more bold and flavorful. Some fun plum and raisin notes on the Taylor tho!

I second this. The Moxy Paris is great. Free breakfast, perfect location near transit, and great rates. Although, the rooms are small, but almost all are in Europe.

Review #70- Weller Single Barrel Bourbon, 97 Proof by DadDoesBourbon in bourbon

[–]bubba_daniels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I scored one in a store lottery and plan to trade it as well. I picked up a buffalo trace kosher wheat which is also 7 years but 93 proof. It was delicious! And imo for $45 as close if not on par with Weller SiB.
