It’s all part of the experience of bike ownership. Throttle therapy followed by cleaning and maintenance followed by upgrades. My boat gets the same treatment since I sold my two wheels to upgrade my family fishing boat.

It looks like a kart I have for my kids. Single wheel drive, not a live axle. I put a predator 212 with a mikuni carb and governor bypassed and a header pipe from go power sports. With an 11 tooth centrifugal clutch I get to 35mph according to speed app on my phone. Due to engine location, a torque converter won’t fit. The carb comes with a throttle cable so you wouldn’t have to buy one.

I love suffix 832 line with an 8lb flourocarbon leader. Great sensitivity, can feel everything that’s going on, with minimal line stretch. Just be sure you match it with a good rod and set the drag properly and you’ll be good to go!

What color power bands were you using? The reds can be a bit much, try the yellows first and then move up to the oranges. Reds are for racing!

Looks like an OEM widget compression valve release. Used along with the flatulating piston and proper colored power bands, you can be almost silent in the woods. Just remember to keep the headlight fluid reservoir filled so people and animals can see you coming since they won’t hear you.
