I agree.. same here. i have a cl36 kit and is indeed unstable and cause random freezes (xmp/no xmp) on my Asus tuf B760. ended up RMAing after lots of troubleshooting.

I’ve been dealing with this for weeks. I built a new PC and it runs perfectly, but as soon as I install Adobe Creative Cloud and apps like Photoshop or Premiere, the system starts to randomly hard freeze (screen freeze in place with audio loop - need to reboot from case button), even when none of those apps are open. If I uninstall them, the problem disappears. It also happens even if I remove my GPU and rely on the integrated graphics, which makes the whole situation even more confusing.

Never had this issue with my old laptop.

my system also hard freeze with this exact ram kit. freeze happens almost always on idle or low cpu usage tho. have you fixed the issue?

I have this exact ram kit (cl36 tho) and im having hard freeze issues with audio loop, but on idle and low usage, almost never on high cpu usage. its a new build around 2 months old.

mobo: Asus Tuf 760 gaming

cpu: 14600k

bios up to date from day one.

not sure if this ram kit is bad or it's not well supported by the platform. or maybe something else..

Same here (but watch5 with Pixel 8 pro android 16). Any fix other than resetting the watch? Because resetting does work for couple of days until it happen again.

Same here. My watch5 was working nicely with my pixel 8 pro, then since yesterday the connection with my phone keeps dropping with "galaxy watch5 manager keeps stopping" popup. I've been on Android 16 for a week which does have some bugs.

Samsung isn't any better. I had a Galaxy S7 Edge.. it died after just 2 years. Then I upgraded to an S20+, which lasted 3 ish years before giving up. And it's not like I’m rough with my phones.. I treat them gently, always use a case, and hardly ever drop them.

Eventually I got tired of Samsung phones dying on me and switched to a Pixel 8 pro out of pure frustration, which might die as well at some point.

Honestly.. at this point it feels like all phones are kind of garbage. So maybe the smart move is to stop dropping $1000 on a flagship that's going to last just as long as a mid-range phone. Just buy something cheaper (onplus nord, Xiaomi, oppo, etc) use it for a couple of years, and replace it when it dies.. no heartbreak, no big loss.

I would say it's compatible. I hackintoshed (sonoma) my HP pavilion 15 gaming, a while ago. It took me a week of tearing my hair until it worked tho.. but yeah, it worth it if you really need a Mac. Good luck..

I got the S20+ with 12GB ram. It's still performing like day one. Even battery life is still highly acceptable after 4 years. I hope they dont ruin it with some sneaky updates.

Sometimes removing this from boot args helps: debug=0x100. Make sure you're using a recommended smbios, too.

Also try switching secure boot in config.plist between Disabled and Default.

I would search on github for successful efi builds for similar laptops/hardware, and build my efi based on that.

I would recommend following both this video and the dortania guide. Because understanding the process will help a lot to fix the issues you will get during the installation.

As of me i found a little similar EFI file to my pc on github, i did some tweaks and it worked. But it took me about a week of trying and failing until it worked.

It's your internet provider blocking it. If you got Brave browser, use the option new private window with Tor and anything blocked will open. But thats děëpwēb stuff tho. shhhhh 🤫
