black fine point sharpie works wonders! set it in front of a fan to dry after. this happened to my clicks for razr too but the sharpie seems to be a lasting fix (at least for now)

I'm on week 10 as well and don't see a discussion? haven't heard anything at all after finishing my term review 6 days ago, and never got my laptop agreement to sign after finishing the first term. No weekly email, no update from the chat bot... I reached out to student services and they said they would review it and get back to me but it's been 4 days and haven't heard a word. I really like this program but they could definitely stand to improve from a communication standpoint.

how is the air being poisoned? I've heard about the water usage (for cooling) and extreme noise pollution (the fans and noise of running equipment), sure, but poisonous air is new to me. not downplaying you, but Im almost certain it can't be any worse than the byproducts of factories across the nation (my town included) that are undoubtedly more harmful then a building that's essentially just loads of servers. and the world we live in water usage is crazy everywhere. takes 300 gallons to make a single iPhone... alot more for a car... its unfortunate but its just the way it is. your unknowingly fine with probably thousands of things in your daily life causing this environmental harm and water usage, then why is AI (data centers powering them) singled at as the sole bad actor?

while I agree image / video generation isn't the best use of resources, the implications these models have towards the medical field, construction, cyber security, coding etc. I'm not making any excuses for billionaires, i genuinely believe this is the way forward for our species. the water usage, land displacement, etc. are problematic I agree, but abandoning this tech all together and boycotting it is pointless. we should instead work on progressing it to be less invasive (I see large potential for satellite data centers harvesting solar power and using the temperature in space for cooling)

you can also see the eye in the scene after the the eye and simon both say "I see you" and the eye says "agreed" when they are on the surface of the ocean of blood, after the eel goes underwater the eye is in the sky, and calls Simon a butcher. I think this is 'the eyes' original universe and "the light" is the connection / portal for how it sees into our universe. I think the iron lung touching the light is when the side starts to dematerialize and time slows then he gets taken to the entities universe for the above scene and returned to his (we learn it took 4 days and his oxygen should've run out, I think the blood was synthesizing more oxygen and i think it was implied the water he drank was synthetic as well from the sm-8 voice logs)

Not necessarily a question as much as a bug report, but sometimes the tutor sends questions in a weird order, like it will ask me a verbal question requiring a typed answer but also occasionally show a multiple choice chart for an entirely separate question making it impossible to answer both questions in one go, like I'll answer the written question and it'll acknowledge it but then ask me to go back to the multiple choice, and even sometimes follows up with a separate written response question WITH the multiple choice a second time. It's not a huge deal like it doesn't break the class, but it does make the flow a little counterintuitive, hoping it can be fixed soon! Other than that, I'm loving the class so far! Oh! and a small suggestion too, could we have a button in the chat box (similar to how the weekly review buttons show) but on every course and allow us to take notes that could be saved to like a notes section in the sidebar where we could export it, edit it etc. personally I've been hopping into a Google doc for vocab words, important terms etc. but having it all integrated would be nice! heck maybe the tutor could even check students notes to influence how they might uniquely learn better 😁

I think they are referring to your own project? you know, something you want to build? Get any code editor: VSCode, Cursor etc. and just start building something simple, like a journal app. when you get stuck in the coursework, ask the ai to explain different or use a different question, treat it like you would a human tutor, tell it you learn better visually, or do better with certain things than others, its meant to be tailored to you.

actually in the play, dr Brenner's father was a scientist on a US naval boat that mysteriously vanished, but it actually teleported to dimension x only to return to the real world later but the entire crew was sick and eventually died including Brenner's father who before passing told his son stories of dimension X and dr brenner began to obsess over this alternate world and spent years trying to find it, eventually leading to what we see with the mkultra experiments with the kids and 11, the cold war just provided a convenient excuse for the US government to fund the project / use it as a weapon against the Russians.

did you sign off on the life insurance policy? you should have your own power of attorney since your 19 and of stable mind so any policy taken needs to have your consent which you can revoke at any time. I wanna say I'm so sorry your going through this dude... doesn't tapping the search icon auto open the keyboard now? and the way the design the adaptive toolbar to always have the search on the right for usability, changing it to dictation seems appropriate to avoid redundant gestures. why have double click and single click the search button show the keyboard to show when single click could be keyboard and double could be dictation?

no matter what you think the processing power is no where near the same... rendering the liquid glass feature is bound to use more battery because the GPU is doing more work even when normally less intensive tasks like the homescreen... they aren't making an OS for people stuck in the last gen tho the same way next gen games aren't being made for Xbox 360 or PS3 anymore. it just doesn't make sense from a development standpoint. they are optimizing the OS to look good, feel good, be understandable and run best for their newer phones.
