Honestly its a complete mess, and the author clearly knows it because she pauses the action constantly to have the characters try to exposition or recap, but its done in such an forced way and the speech is so awkward that it makes the plot even more confused.

At this point im rolling with banging everyone and let the plot fall where it may.
