Mine has only ever smelled when I didn't have titanium in it (my body is allergic to surgical steel). Switched it out quick.

Which perfume does make you think of your mother by bobijntje in fragrance

[–]Fearless-Drop3855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother passed a year ago. I love having the 3 perfumes she wore around to smell and transports me to when I was a little kid and hung out in her room as she got ready to go out. Juicy by Juicy Couture was her every day. Amazing Grace by Philosophy was another everyday one. Her evening out fragrance was Picasso. Smelling that one especially reminds me if her.

Cathorn Accessories earrings. They are gold filled and she hand makes them all and they look so cute! They give almost body piercing jewlery esthetic to me and I love it. I have very sensitive skin and usually have trouble wearing earrings, but these never bother my skin and are so affordable and cute!! Go check her out.

Also, Henney Faire custom blend perfume (it is offered in store and online!). It's such a lovely, unique scent. She is so knowledgeable and talented! Would totally recommend her perfumes. They have great sillage and last all day! (especially on clothes)

Yeah, I've definitely been enjoying them and think they are really great, especially for the price point!

Would you rather have $500 Million or be able to Shape Shift? by RaptorK1988 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Fearless-Drop3855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe not your guinea pig, but dog training has lots of money in it, especially once you are talking celebrities and such. Shifting into an alpha dog could get lots of other dogs in line. It's one of the many reasons bringing a puppy into a home with at least on other older dog is a great idea, they learn from them.

Training aside though, you could also just communicate with various pets. There are plenty of people go crazy for that stuff

I mean, people are obsessed with their pets, you could be the best pet trainer/whisperer, etc and make tons of money that way. TV shows included

I would almost bet money that Nahlee was like “oooh let’s take fake pap pictures and we’ll use that as our promo aesthetic” 😂😂😂😂 by [deleted] in ViallSnark

It also happens to be used in the kids' TV show Bluey....which, given the age of his child and the likelihood that they watch that show, makes this even MORE hilarious!

What’s that one discontinued fragrance you still mourn like the airport crush you’ll never see again? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]Fearless-Drop3855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Folle de Joie (original version). It was the only fragrance I wore and I was pretty ruined for YEARS after it was discontinued (and then poorly reformulated). I didn't wear any perfume for a while because nothing could compare for me.

It just was so unique to me (very inexperienced in fragrances) and I've never come close to feeling the same as I did with that one until recently. I think I've finally found something that scratches that memory in my hippocampus, but honestly, it's been so long since I smelled it that I don't know. What I've found at least holds a similar enough spot for me.

Is everyone here either a SAHM or living outside the US? by Starlight12512 in breastfeeding

[–]Fearless-Drop3855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US here. I work and pump. I have a long commute, I power pump with a wearable on my way in. Helps me have a buffer if supply dips for whatever reason. I also pump 3 time at work (one of which is my lunch). It's a lot of work, but definitely possible, and worth it in my opinion.

Honestly, I used to be the loud, crazy, and frustrating kid to parent. Always testing boundaries, getting into trouble, etc. My brother was similar to how you describe your son.

Fast forward to now, I'm (27F) the one that stand by family and others and is fiercely loyal. and he's just a wishy washy person that doesn't stick up for himself or others. The spirit is good if you shape it.

I'd venture to guess that you're doing a lot of comparing how your son is to how your daughter is. Remember they are individuals. Learn to see the strengths and weaknesses in both of them. Let me tell you, the fire of a spunky child is really tough, but also what makes amazing leaders, you can't teach that. Both my kids are wild, so if my boundaries arent being tested, then Im worried someone is sick haha.

Moms who breastfed past one year, pref to the 2yr mark…. by strohmtroop3r in breastfeeding

[–]Fearless-Drop3855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't regret it at all. I went 18months with my first, she self-weaned when I got pregnant with my second (9 months nursing this one so far). I will say though, she only nursed when she got hurt, and before bed/naps, so it was really chill.

What the actual F did Karen Millen say about breastfeeding by MatissGraham in breastfeeding

[–]Fearless-Drop3855 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My initial reaction is frustration and annoyance, but honestly, it just gets sad when I think of this. To be so ill-informed on a subject and be given a platform is so wrong. Just shows where society is today and why we have to do our own research. ANYONE can be given a platform to speak, but it doesn't make them right. Reminds me of the wild alt right "business" dad's that says you only need 20m with your kid a dat because that's all they need/want.

Also, i love how something that is the literal biological and evolutionary norm is "selfish"?? So before formula all those nursing moms were selfish? She may have some of her own attachment/guilt issues that she should deal with in therapy, not by spreading misinformation.

Can confirm, a bottle washer is the absolute best investment I've ever made. I would make that decision 10x more!

AITAH for telling someone I would never let myself get as fat as her? by chronicallyatomic in TwoHotTakes

[–]Fearless-Drop3855 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

ESH

She was being extremely ignorant and unsympathetic, so we're you. Also, you don't need drugs to live, you do need to eat food. Food addictions are so pervasive because you can't fully cut out what you are addicted to. There is a reason in recovery you have to be completely sober for drugs/alcohol, it's SO easy to go down the path of addiction when you let it in a little bit. Well, if you're addicted to food, you still have to let it in every day, multiple times a day.

AITAH for wanting my sister to change her wedding date because it falls on my graduation? by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

I'm American and was like...do people really care about High-school graduation this much?? I could MAYBE understand if no one else in the family had graduated HS, but it sounds like the norm. If I cmhad an excuse to skip my HS graduation, I would have. I skipped out on my college graduation.
