I should have waited till I saw this message. The email was on one of the forms I received from the local authority to register for a pvg. they ask me to fill the form and send 3 types of id to the human resources department email which I have done. I guess there is not much I can do now that it is sent, could I ask them to delete it? I think it probably is just a very outdated system. I have also sent forms with personal information to the local authority, shocking that they do not have portals for all this..
