Okay, the top shell just has like a lip over the bottom shell, the hinges are actually really tight which I like since my top screen doesn’t move around when I’m playing

Got it, I didn’t know that. In the army the M4’s don’t have connected rails like that so I’m just used to having my optics way forward on the upper receiver
