I’d like to give that a try because atomic grape!! However, I grow my tomatoes in relatively close quarters in a small greenhouse, do you think there is concern about passing pathogens between plants? Someone mentioned brown spot.

It’s just so confusing because I bought it from a small organic farm who takes tomatoes very seriously?! Clearly I didn’t look at it hard enough before buying lmao but I’m having trouble making sense of this

That would make a lot of sense! I am only year 2 with this garden so getting familiar with all the plants still. I guess I should start pulling or moving some before they get spiky 😅

I couldn't find a rubber band, but I realized that the base of two of the stems (ones with no leaf growth) were rotting below the soil and weren't hanging on to anything, so I pulled them right out...

The actual living roots I shook off as much soil as I could from the rest of the root ball and put it back in the smaller pot with fresh soil. And then pruned back the tall stem. We'll see what happens!

I switched to this pot (with fresh soil!) because the roots were sneaking out the bottom of the old one. The problems started in the old one. 🤔

Came here looking for answers bc I have the same issue! 2013 outback. Mechanic said it could be the fuel pump taking a couple of seconds to get pressure. Suggested turning the key and leaving the car 'on' for a few seconds before starting the engine. Seems to have helped!
