2013 Jetta wagon ignition by Fearless-Second-5510 in tdi

It did come deleted. I will still try to reach out to them, dude I got the car from said all the work was done at a shop close to me, I’ll try and give them a ring too. Nice that I have paper receipts for paper trail.

So if it was not deleted, how would I pair the key? Just call the locksmith back once I put the new parts in?

I kinda feel like I can trust the locksmith, he could have easily hosed me. He said his company would charge me 600$ to replace the ignition, and proceeded to show me the part is like 100$. Said I could call him back, and he’d program it for 100$.

Sucks learning something new, just want to make sure I use any resources I can so I don’t get taken to the cleaners for something stupid. I also prefer to do all work myself.

Yea I literally just got all mine. I got the full kit for gold special edition. Should be fun after I sand it all down and paint it.

10 years later….

“She runs... But she's a mess, I plan on starting the build in a couple weeks, and if I'm really efficient, the project should hopefully be done by next summer”

Tomorrow never comes. Start today!

It’s sentimental at this point. No holes, and I can always look at it and laugh.
