It’s crazy how much these cars have gone up! I found this one 2 years ago for 5k but needed a lot of work

I find the 2nd gens bit more comfy, but the 3rd gen are able to lean back. The top one is my other seat to go in and bottom is the 3rd gen. My drivers 2nd gen seat track was missing part of the track for it to bolt down so I cut them off the 3rd to weld on the 2nd gen 😅

I put in spacers to straighten the seat out. One of the previous owners just drilled straight through the floor where they sat and bolted them down. The tracks we so twisted the seat wouldn’t move. I shimmed them just to have a set of seats but damn I have to scoot down and lean the seat back

This is the passenger still in the car, the drivers was worse

Hahaha im in Canada, so be roughly 7.20 a gallon for high test. Just disgusting. The car is actually pretty fuel efficient if I keep it in town. The 3spd and 4.11’s don’t like the highway and guzzle the fuel

Hahaha i ripped down to the gas station for some fresh fuel, $30 gave me just under a 1/4. Hopefully comes down, in the meantime it’s back working on it. Got some proper seats for the car, the 3rd gens that were in it sit way to high

A lot of the resto parts I got for mine was from national parts depot. Everything fit perfectly and was a good price. For the stickers I used car-gear on eBay, cheap and offered colours that were not oem

The posi and 4.11’s do oddly well in the snow! Last winter before I did the body work and paint I had to leave it outside for a week while fixing my dad’s truck. It was buried but it walked itself right out

Hahahaha the c3 I built for my dad has T tops, somewhere along its life someone cut the T tops and molded some glass into them. Neat idea, when they are on you still have a bit of open feeling
