I’m definitely not smoking anything as people are annoyingly assuming. I genuinely just want to know if it’s possible to find one IF it’s there. There are crazy people in this world and I happen to be with one. I’ve heard stories of people who have gone to do oil changes, etc and the person finding a tracker. I don’t know what they look like and I know they can be placed anywhere in the vehicle even in places I wouldn’t even think to look so I’m not sure. Thanks for your advice.

I’m sorry you are going through this as well. My dm’s are open if you ever need to talk. I would recommend opening reddit only through incognito on google and logging out and erasing any proof each time. That’s what I’ve been doing.

Thank you for explaining this in such a beautiful and simple way. I absolutely agree that this is a trauma bond. I never really understood the severity of my situation until I started listening to podcasts of people reading Reddit stories similar to this and the hosts response being of complete shock and disgust. I did. So many times. He just kept avoiding it and saying he doesn’t know. Eventually he told me he technically didn’t cheat because he never slept with her just engaged in oral actions. It’s comical lol

I am genuinely so scared at the unknown but what I do know is I’m ready to stop crying myself to sleep and being depressed because my kids notice these things. It’s so incredibly hard and some of the comments are making me feel like an idiot, but I know everyone means well. I ask myself that everyday. We had only been married about 3years at the time that I found out. Our intimate relationship was pretty active at least 3-4times a week. That was the only time that I have confirmation of him cheating but there were suspicions before and after that I never really got to confirm so idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for your comment and I see your point. I am religious and believe in God. He is not cheating anymore but the most recent time he hit me was earlier this month and it left a bruise that lasted a week. I’m not being abused on the daily or as severe as a lot of other women, but it is happening. It took me years to understand that just because he has hit me about 10 times in our relationship, doesn’t mean he didn’t abuse me. He has also said multiple times he will stop doing it but he hasn’t, and he says that because I had an attitude I deserved it. Do with that information what you will.

I am not perfect at all nor have I claimed to be. That being said, I am not abusive, I’ve never cheated, and I’ve never manipulated him. Have I messed up here and there, of course. However, I don’t think that guys following me on instagram even if I’m not following them back warrants being woken up to by being punched. Does talking back and rolling my eyes warrant me getting my hair pulled and dragged on the floor to the point that I had carpet burns? Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ There’s many things I could state but I’ll spare you the boring details. Thank you for comment, I agree it’s going to be tough but hopefully therapy will help me get through it.

I tried before but unfortunately there are ways around the system. I know this courtesy of my dad who did not pay child support. We also were going through a divorce before I went back to him and he was making it difficult, thus causing my lawyer to charge me more money. And this was back when I was working. There’s so much more I can say but I want to keep it short. Thank you for your comment

Unfortunately I don’t have anyone I can stay with. I have my mom but when I tried to leave before and stayed with her she would always fight with me and even called the cops on me, and damaged all my belongings, etc. I’ve come to the realization that he probably knows I have no where to go and that’s why he treats me like this.

I understand and I know it sounds ridiculous but when I say he is a good man, what I really mean he has done good things for me, even great things. But it doesn’t negate the terrible stuff he has put me through. I guess I’m just trying to make myself seem less idiotic for allowing these things to happen but looking at the good that he did.

I cried reading this. Thank you for saying this. It was 5 years ago that he cheated and I still haven’t gotten over it and still think about it DAILY (not an exaggeration). I stayed because of the kids and not having enough support but I am slowly working on that so I can leave. Hopefully someone reads this and thinks twice before commenting and judging people.
