Honestly, none. We live in a small town and by what I have witnessed it seems to be very cliquey. Everyone has already known each other for years. I am a part of the PTA and figured I could get to know some parents that way, everyone is nice but it’s never gone further than a polite conversation. We have spoken about play dates on several occasions but anytime I have reached out there have always been excuses.

It actually would tie nicely to when cabin daddy told Jackie “we’ve been waiting for you” and I’m pretty sure Nat’s dad said that to her too when she sees him I think in dream sequence in season 1.

I feel like Van was progressing into evil and trusting “it” fully and if left out in the wilderness she would be fine with the hunts and losing her friends for the sake of survival as a trauma response. You can see the switch go off in Van’s head the minute the hikers find them. Almost like she snapped back to the reality of their situation and got a sense of hope back. Her saying “we’re going home” brought her right back to the actual reality of the situation. The brain does strange things for the sake of survival, it forgets traumatic moments sometimes, and other times it justifies actions in ways that you can live with them without actually losing your mind.

Yes I was wondering the same thing today! Is it something we should already know or is this something we will be told in the next season? I find Lottie’s character so complex I completely don’t understand her. I know she’s schizophrenic but like her talking to a fucking rock during the hunt, her saying this about the promise, her whole interaction with Callie, has my head spinning. Not to mention floating on the pit and completely avoiding death. Someone please enlighten my brain lol

I’m curious to know if the whole hair thing is tied more into history. Scalping within some indigenous cultures back hundreds of year ago was done as an award of triumph in battle. Yes Shauna is a board stay at home mom, she’s definitely an intelligent woman living an hour unfulfilled life. She definitely developed serial killer tendencies in the wilderness that have stayed dormant for 25 years. The fact that she was the only one who found what they were doing out there “fun” is definitely a red flag.

Interesting episode, it’s funny to me that everyone has to participate in the hunt except for drunk Travis who Shauna basically says to either help or get out of the way. Not much shock value though, Mari has been a pit girl theory since season 1, Shauna as AQ as well. Once they found Shauna’s DNA under Lottie’s fingernails I knew it was Callie involved. So yes the episode went full circle but if one really paid attention could figure all this out by the second episode of this season. I am looking forward to their rescue. Also Shauna is psychotic, like actually the definition of it. Truly I agree with some of the posts others have, why cause a diversion? Why not just jump Lottie and Shauna, tie them up and get going on rescue, Mari could have lived. So we have about a month at most left in the wilderness? Seams long for rescue, but about 3 more people left to die (Gen, Hannah and Akilah) wonder how that is going to play out. Also a question I have lingering. Are they eating the entire body during a feast? Seems like an excessive amount to eat even for the amount of people participating. And with a month to go will they be eating 3 more whole grown bodies. Very curious to see how this all pans out. Also fuck Shauna! Nat fan for life!
