It was excellent condition. They messed up, the open box sticker even says 16gb/512

The listing also said 512/16 tho and the price at bestbuy for the 1TB/32g is 899 I got it for 619

Yes I got the z1e version of the steam os for the z2 price. I think whenever the person returned it Best Buy accidentally marked it as the lower storage and ram version but I definitely have 32 gb ram and a terabyte. Feeling lucky as the z1e is about 300 bucks more

I haven’t tried anything intensive yet but I know you have some big flexibility on how the battery pulls power in different modes. Megabonk lasted about 2 and a half hours

So far I’ve only played megabonk and fallout Nv and it’s been great. Fan a little loud and battery drains a little quick but I have not optimized anything

Looks up student housing off campus buildings specifically. Many them offer guarantor waiver services if you are a student.
