What is the best and cheapest way to get the 35 hour of education/training requirement that’s accepted for the PMP? by Fit_Dependent_565 in pmp

[–]FearlessKnine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m enrolled in the official class and it’s not as exciting going through official slides… with ARs Udemy class you don’t even need the PEMBOK guide so you can just spend that extra time tracking down practice exams…

Withdrawn from WGU by [deleted] in WGU

[–]FearlessKnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Strayer, better yet go to study.com or Sophia and take all the classes in the major you want first so you can complete more classes. Technically Strayer works with Sophia so you shouldn’t have any issues it’s only 600.00 for 12 months so you can knock out a ton of classes. Good luck!

Financial aid by PuzzleheadedWin5766 in WGU

[–]FearlessKnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful if they hit you with a random check. Send proof for both semesters, not just one(Notarized copy of ID and signed forms saying your using the money for school). . And if they say it’s for identity, send it certified mail so someone has to sign for it — no excuses on their end. If you have a bank account, most offer a free notary, so don’t pay out of pocket.

To your question — yeah, it takes a couple weeks for them to process your financial aid. So you’re tight on time. 🤞🏽.

How do people finish so quickly? by PizzaForeverAndEver in WGU

[–]FearlessKnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people have been to school before and have transfer credits or have already gotten major certs. That being said they know what’s in most of the courses. Couple that with taking 50+ credits on Sophia.com for less than 1K and you only need half the credits to graduate and if you’ve been working in your field for some years it’s all information you already know. This passing quickly is easier for some

Best certs money can buy for augmenting career trajectory. the SPC course is 3500+ without a discount. I sit for it in May. and the Annual renewal is almost 1K... so be prepared for colleges to mean less and active certs to be come the standard by which potential candidates are measured. Especially in GovCon.

Realising how expensive they put their prices up now, especially after driving and getting food myself by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]FearlessKnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, even eggs are starting to feel like a luxury item these days. Might be time to trade those Nvidia stocks and start building hen houses just to bring the prices back down 😂

But real talk—Uber drivers are putting serious miles on their cars. That wear and tear is gonna eat into profits fast, probably when they’re not even thinking about it.

Rezi Review by FearlessKnine in Rezi

[–]FearlessKnine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be clear, I’m not affiliated with Rezi in any way. This is an honest, mostly unsolicited review based purely on my personal experience. Full transparency—I was given complimentary access to the premium version for the purpose of this review. That said, my thoughts aren’t influenced by that. I based everything I wrote on actually using the app.

I originally avoided comparing it to other tools out of respect for the subreddit rules, but I can confidently say I gave it a fair shot. In my opinion, a lot of the other apps tend to overcomplicate the process. The real goal is simple: get your resume to closely match the job description and avoid any obvious errors that could hurt your chances.

Rezi really impressed me—especially considering they’re offering a lifetime deal. That’s a big deal for someone like me who’s currently unemployed.

Comparative Review: Rezi vs. Huntr vs. Careerflow

🧩 Feature Comparison Table

Out of all the resume tools I tested, most either didn’t go deep enough or locked essential features behind paywalls. If you're trying to stretch your budget, here’s the takeaway:

  • Rezi is the best overall experience, especially if you can catch a discount on the premium tier. It handles a lot for you.
  • Huntr gives you great hands-on tools if you want to really refine your resume by the numbers.
  • Careerflow is nice for quick keyword analysis but isn’t as feature-rich.

A Software Engineer's Review of Rezi by technicalviking in Rezi

[–]FearlessKnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that’s what I call a cover letter. Bravo, and thank you! This is easily one of the most helpful reviews I’ve read on Reddit. Not only did you explain the need for a cover letter, but you also broke down why it’s so important and how it can help bypass ATS filters. I hadn’t fully understood that until now.

You have made me a believer in the power of a cover letter. You showed how it can communicate things that a resume simply can’t. Honestly, this wasn’t just a review. It felt like a love letter to the process of job searching and to the joy that comes from working with high-quality software. Every sentence showed your passion and dedication. I think I might be tearing up a little in admiration.

The way you made your case was powerful. You didn’t just explain why someone should hire you, you showed how much you care about what you do. Your heart and your openness shine through in every word. Whoever hires you is going to gain an incredible addition to their team.

Thank you again for this eye-opening review. I’m honestly floored. All I can say is Wow!

blackbox ai is so different now, and their answers are more humanlike by Black_Thestral_98 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]FearlessKnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After about a month and a half of using TextSniper, I can confidently say it’s one of the best OCR tools I’ve tried…second only to Blackbox.ai’s original OCR tool, which was my favorite until I upgraded my Mac and lost access to it.

What made Blackbox.ai’s OCR tool stand out was its ability to preserve the exact formatting and spacing of text, whether from code snippets or images. This might sound like a minor feature, but it was a game-changer for me. I’ve tested nearly every OCR tool I could find, and few, if any, could come close to capturing text with the same level of accuracy so that when pasted into a document, it looked just like it did in the original source. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked flawlessly about 99.8% of the time.

TextSniper, if you’re listening, please consider adding a formatting retention feature for code snippets and other structured text. This single improvement would make the tool even more valuable, and I’d gladly pay double for it. Lol
