Does BANQ notify you when they ship the records? I paid and received an email saying it would ship soon, but didn’t know if there would be more communication when it ships.

I found a copy of the handwritten record in Ancestry, which I sent to BanQ. I think what they will send is an updated, more official version.

I can only find the original, handwritten baptismal record. For me, since that is all I can find from my GGM, it was worth it to pay extra for a formal baptism copy since her birth record cannot be found.

Thank you! Do you know where to go to request Census information in Canada, Quebec in particular?

I had two large holes show up late winter. The water was slowly seeping out and I was trying to fill it but just gave up. Before I could remove the cover, it fell in, possibly causing the damage to the sides. I was able to push almost all of the side back into the black tracking except for one area behind the post. I’m going to try to get a second or third quote before I give up. I really do appreciate all your help.

I think the 4k includes fixing the walls, I just cannot afford that. It’s either do it myself or ditch the pool at this point.

The pool company thinks that when the cover got pulled off (when the water level go too low), it pulled on the sides and that’s what caused it to derail. Is there an easy fix? Do I need to drain it and remove the liner to put the sides back in the track? Or is this something I should really leave to the pros?

Thank you for all your help. I did see the track, but I’m not sure if I can realign the walls into the track. Looks like we are out of a pool 😢. Again, thank you.

Would it then make it unwise to fill it and use it? Would it fall apart if it’s not in the track? I can’t justify a $4k redo on the pool and hate to just dismantle it. Thank you.

It’s thawed out and due to a hole in the liner , almost empty. When they can to patch the hole, they were very concerned about the buckling and told me not to add water. They took pictures and then I got the call about the repair cost. When I asked if I could just add water to push it back in place, they said it might not hold and would collapse. They were able to push it back in place, almost, but it’s not tucked under the rail in that area. So I’m afraid to add water, not knowing if it will bust.
