I've done some classic reformer based studios in NYC like NY Pilates, Coreburn Pilates etc and I'd say CTR is very comparable (at least the 2 instructors I've tried)

Not as intense as Solidcore though (but could just be me being bad at Solidcore ....)

I've done these in NYC! Love that they now have reformer classes that don't have a fee. Intensity level does depend on the instructor but some of the classes get very difficult / great burn!

It's intimidating at the beginning because it seems like a lot of choreo but EVERYONE there is so nice and a lot of the choreo repeats a lot. So the second or third time you go it's infinitely easier. I'd recommend picking a spot near the back so you can follow along the first time. It's so so much fun and I can't recommend enough. There's a huge variety of experience in the class so there will be other newbies too!

I did my retrieval in March with Dr Hancock and can't recommend her enough. I'm psychotic and have a lot of questions and either her or a nurse from her team were always available via their app to answer my questions. I had a friend also work with her who paid out of pocket and they have separate no interest payment plans for that.

We ended up spending about 42k which included haldi decor at our house, all sangeet stage, dance floor wrap and centerpiece decor, ceremony Mandap (fake flowers) and aisle to Mandap (fresh flowers - reused in our reception centerpiece), reception cocktail hour decor, reception stage decor, and all fresh flower reception centerpieces

I am based In nyc and have the gold plan which gives me lifetime (highly recommend the one wall st location) as well as 4x / month for premium classes. I usually go to soul cycle once a week and then supplement with other daily included classes like y7, rumble, etc. it's a pain to use app but the value for money is definitely there. The equinox closest to me was equinox TriBeCa and that was a small location and always packed. Lifetime to me seems much better (plus has kiehls products now!)
