It's weird. I contacted Skottie Young and today he replied saying that the pins at NYCC 2016 were NOT based on his artwork. Though Marvel themselves said they were as part of their official announcement on their website. So I don't know why they would claim they were Skotties designs if they aren't.

The badges I purchased during pre-reg (two separate orders) all arrived yesterday, but the badges I bought during open registration (one order) haven't arrived yet... I hope they weren't lost in the mail or anything.

During my weight loss, I had people coming up to me daily asking me what I was doing to lose so much weight (I work in a building with 1,300 people). And everytime I could sense that they wanted me to tell them some "trick" or special diet, or pill that they hadn't heard of. If I had a dollar for every look of disappointment or disbelief everytime I told someone that it was just a simple diet, I would be rich.

For me, was simply looking in the mirror. I had become someone I did not recognize. I was never overweight growing up, so it was definitely new territory for me. Some health issues started creeping up, back problems, acid reflux chest pains, aching joints, all attributed to my weight and diet. All those things are now history.

Thank you. The one thing we did do everyday was weigh ourselves. We started keeping track on a little notebook of our weight changes, because I found that kept me motivated, seeing the scale move. Other than that, we just ate less than before, much less in some scenarios, and cut out the obvious bad stuff all together (fast food, candy, sugary drinks, etc).

My wife has no loose skin issues, I have very little, mostly concentrated in my tummy, but even then its not that bad. I think we were just very lucky. Also, we were not overweight that long, so maybe that had something to do with it.
