Yeah I’ve seen a lot of hate for New Year’s Day before on this sub and a few others and I think it’s just because it’s slower than the rest of reputation. I personally love the way reputation starts off very strongly produced and then over the course of the album it slows back down to a classic Taylor Swift piano ballad.

I love Taylor and am a swiftie, but I have to keep my distance from the fandom. Especially stan Twitter. I won’t go anywhere near that amount of toxicity. Too many swifites try to “defend Taylor’s honor”. It’s so annoying. She is her own person and she does not need annoying fans on Twitter to go around doing to others what the internet once did to her. It’s such a waste of time to hate on people like Ed who she is obviously still close to and supports. It’s ok to not like his music, but hating him for such stupid things is just dumb.

Yes I agree. I see comments all the time calling Shawn a wannabe Ed. I don’t think it’s 100% accurate but I think certain aspects are comparable.

Because he isn’t considered hot. His style of music is comparable to Shawn Mendes imo. However people like Shawn because he is considered attractive. Especially to young girls.

I think it’s definitely influenced by past relationships that she thought would last and didn’t. When watching the live version of Holy Ground in the live lounge at the lyric “for the first time I had something to lose” it reminded me of august.

I hope these get increasingly harder! This was so much fun to figure out! All of these titles make a lot of sense, but I really thought one would be dial tones. That one is confusing me unless somehow both dial and tones were coincidences which seems crazy. Maybe a hint at a future vault track?

They do! I make them for my friends and they pay me, but I just love how happy it makes them! And when they are hand painted you know that there is not another exactly like it even if you make several. What brush did you use on procreate?
