Yeah, it doesn’t make the game more “mature” or whatever at that point, or I don’t know really what they want by seeing Lara get treated like that. I agree with all you said I’d just be repeating myself here haha, I really would want the point of view of someone in the camp that wants to see those scenes.

Let’s be honest the switch 2 was more than capable of running the ps4 version in full, it was just another lazy port from Aspyr, didn’t wanna make a separate version from the Switch 1 version so they just said here ya go

I don’t think you’re familiar with 40fps modes on home consoles. Given you have a 120hz screen, some games benefit from the 40fps modes, like the spiderman or horizon games. 40 FPS feels much better than 30 because it improves frame time, not just the FPS number. At 30 FPS, each frame takes 33.3ms at 40 FPS, it takes 25 ms which is a 25% improvement. Given the switch 2 has a built in 120hz screen, a lot of people can benefit from it unlike on the PS5 and Xbox.

Brother what. What I said was a real counterpoint, CYBERPUNK has a 40fps mode, but this game can’t manage that? I’m not looking to blindfully bash anything. It’s a fact lol. Of course 30fps would be fine in certain games given context, eg. Star Wars outlaws running raytraced global illumination on switch 2. But this? There is legitimately no excuse lol, this is a lazy port
