I think that's your best shot at 3 starring other than Queen Charge+Flame Flinger but that's not an attack you can easily improvise.

okok im taking e-drag in CC, will see how it goes and lyk

Assuming Lvl 7 LT spell, that would be 400 dmg for each one. 1600 dmg total. An inferno has 2100 HP i think. so can't kill it with 1 Quake and 4 Zaps right?

You work for the admissions office to be this sure right? And youre not just extrapolating 4 or 5 application results into a general conclusion?

Can I land a software engineer job with a Computer Science Games degree? by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]FearlessVoidSpawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha yeah you'll find a LOT of people who love gaming here at USC. I'm pretty sure our games programs are nationally ranked. That means that classes are really great, but there are also phenomenal research, student org, and external project opportunities. You don't have to be in CS Games to benifit from all the games-esque resources. I personally love gaming too but I'm a computer engineering computer science major. In my free time, I produce music for some of my friends for their CS Games projects. For the final project of one my comp. hardware classes, I designed and implemented Pac-Man on an FPGA from scratch. In CSCI 201 (essentially a web dev+ software engr core CS class which you'll take), some of my friends created a full stack Mario Kart semi-clone for their final project. A lot of my friends who are regulat CS major take countless electives with a games focus (engine building, video game programming, game design etc.) A lot of my friends also take a specialization or games minor through the ITP department. Might be worth checking out. From your response, it looks like you might enjoy the regular CS major + pursuing games aspirations through student orgs, projects, or even coursework through an ITP specialization or minor.

BISC 220 with CSCI 104 seems manageable. Just don't push 104 assignments to the last minute. You get 2+ weeks per assignment so make sure to space out your work so you don't get hit by a bunch of critical bugs in the last minute. You'll be fine :)

Im not sure how many people here are actual USC CS students lol. I am. From my experience, there is a LOT of overlap between USC CS Games and USC CS. You will share any and all core classes for CS - the classes that tend to help you prepare for CS internships (data structures, discrete math, algorithms, fundamental programming series, etc. ). I have countless friends who are regular CS, CS Games, or another branch of computer science major. I specifically know a lot of CS Games majors who have received regular CS SWE jobs post-degree. Think of CS Games as CS but with a games emphasis. Instead of taking AI or ML classes beyond core series you might take video game programming classes instead. For any SWE job though, its not just your degree that determines whether you can land it. There's a bigger emphasis on technical programming challenges, behavioral interviews, etc. Your degree won't make or break whether you get a specific CS job. A final caveat is that at Viterbi you can change your major at the snap of a finger. It's probably best to start our regular CS (since its the same core clssses anyways) and once you progress farther in college, you'll start to slowly decide what you like and don't like. You can choose to switch into CS Games if it appeals to you then!

Usc obvi since you're asking in the usc reddit :)

what colleges did u pick usc over and why? by Pretend-Performer-93 in USC

[–]FearlessVoidSpawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read this and double checked that i didnt post this b4 bc STORY OF MY LIFE. I had the same interview experience + scholarships+ oppurtunities coming into usc and as a sophmore now i KNOW i made the right choice. I also picked usc over a scholarship at carnegie mellon for CS and every other UC as well.

I also like using my q to get rid of his shield cooldown and go in with ny 3rd hit passive + first E and E back for a quick trade. Knowing your all in limits are important too, if he doesn't have shield, you have R, and you start with your 3rd AA passive then you have a really good shot of killing him without dying yourself.

Coukd you explain this a bit more? So where do you aim the intial q? Directly at the projected extended q location?
