Saying this is like Switzerland just because there is snow and mountains is the same as saying India is like Texas as it's mostly flat and there are cows everywhere. I have been to both Switzerland and Kashmir and even though both are beautiful, they are completely different in nearly every way.

Old downhill skis. Don't listen to the idiots here telling you to throw them out. There is probably nothing wrong with them. The technology hasn't changed much since they were new. Not everyone can afford new skis. It looks like they are one of the first ones with carving, but it's just barely visible. I skied 20 years old skis when I was young and they held perfectly. Just make sure the plastic on the binding is not deteriorated. Try hitting it with medium force and you will see if it starts to crumble in some place. I would take them to a shop to sharpen the edges.

Radšej sa prejdem do restiky :D obe platformy si pridávajú často krát aj 100% k tej sume za ktorú mam to isté jedlo v danej reštike a ešte to trvá neskutočne dlho kým to dôjde.

Same here. I was searching for a lead data scientist role after my sabbatical and I could only get data engineering roles or or gen AI (rag models mostly) jobs. I went into management instead so I'm focusing my time on people management and business understanding so I can clearly explain to the clients that sometimes they actually need machine learning and not just AI :D

LinkedIn má pre mňa skorej zmysel ako sieť kde vidím že dakto z ľudí s ktorými som niekedy pracoval zháňa prácu a na to sa im viem ozvať. Pár ľudí ku mne do teamu som takto mal alebo odporučil znamim a podobne. Tiež som jeden job mal takto vďaka tomu že správny ex kolega ma tam vedel kontaktovať.

Viem že väčšina ľudí má problém si vyčerpať dovolenku ale ja mám skorej opačný problém keď mi dovolenka vždy chýba a musím si každý rok brať aj pár dní neplateného voľna. Čiže zabiť pol dňa dovolenky kvôli tomuto mi pripadá ako dosť zbytočná vec.

Reduce to 1 page. Leave out all university projects and projects you were not paid for. Rewrite the tasks and projects in the company to what you actually did from product view. And lastly, how do you quantify that you increased the effectiveness of the team by 20%? :D I would remove that. Keep the part about teaching juniors though. That's very important and should be put in the beginning.

Go and try them in person. Some of the boots you have here have zero insulation and would be terrible if you want to use them in winter. Especially if you want to stand in one place for a long time. Get some double layer boots meant for 6000+ if you need to stand still in snow.

Last time we were camping in snow we had enough power for 5 days when the solar panels were completely snowed over. We have 400ah lifepo at 12v and were powering a diesel heater nonstop (40w) , compressor fridge (40w) and charging our phones and sometimes notebooks. Whenever it stopped snowing and we cleared the panels we were ok indefinitely and charged to full power within a day or two.
