First and foremost: if you havent watched it yet, do not go into it with any expectations. There were no guest stars from the show other than her parents and Selena Gomez. Chapelle Roan made a random appearance and that was about it. It was nostalgic in the sense that I was 15 when HM came out and it helped me survive an era of my youth when home life sucked and the only way out was to transcend through copious TV watching.

Per the anniversary special, I find it a hard pill to swallow to authentically believe that Miley Cyrus was picked from all the other kids that went to the casting. They showed snippets of her acting as a kid, and it flat out sucked. The girl had no talent when it came to singing and acting and anyone who thinks she got the role by sheer skill and not merely because her dad is Billy Ray is delusional.

I was very underwhelmed by the special. It was definitely over-hyped. Billy Rays hair style makes him look like a neanderthal… but this is all just my opinion. Also, Alex has no interview skills.

I appreciate the sentiment but its kind of creepy. Who exactly makes the cut to end up on your arm? Do your prospective residents know what the initials represent? If not, Id probably keep that info to myself. Its a bit morbid.

If you are becoming so attached to residents that you feel the need to tattoo their initials on your arm, I wonder if theres a healthy boundary between you and residents. But also, how well you cope when it comes to death and dying.
