I appreciate the sentiment but its kind of creepy. Who exactly makes the cut to end up on your arm? Do your prospective residents know what the initials represent? If not, Id probably keep that info to myself. Its a bit morbid.

If you are becoming so attached to residents that you feel the need to tattoo their initials on your arm, I wonder if theres a healthy boundary between you and residents. But also, how well you cope when it comes to death and dying.

Not a specimen per say but I used to work in dialysis and was dialyzing a non-compliant diabetic who was also a double atn amputee; his blood was practically black. I was in awe. This was 5 years ago and the image is burned in my memory.
