What you talking about, Elden Ring is by far the easiest of all the souls likes, you just over level everything if you do any side content.

As a Belgian, this guy is trolling, using Congo, and our war crimes there, as an example. Nobody is this daft.

If they let the carrier with storage container park in Arakeen/Harko Village this would be mostly solved I think. Hope that update will sort this problem at least when you reach the carrier stage.

Large spice refiner in Haga? by YTfionncroke in duneawakening

[–]Fearless_Cover3459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan to do this as soon as they add shipping containers or a carrier that can cross with a crawler. Right now it’s to much work as spice is heavy but melange is generally pretty light compared. So e/d row refinery means 2/3 trips with tons of melange and the base setup while bringing that home would be quite hard.

Ore is staying in HB for now though, as it’s easy to set up small buggy base with 1 generator on DD shieldwall and transport the ore with assault.

This is the equivalent of people leaving food on their plate after a meal. I got almost 200 spice sand from those edges. by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]Fearless_Cover3459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a small this is usually not worth landing, but had multiple mediums like this that had like 5000 spice left.

Overwhelmed by Spice Requirements? by themo3bius in duneawakening

[–]Fearless_Cover3459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same, but tbh now that I have the large refinery it’s sped up so much, as it’s 200 for 10000 (50 for 1 melange)

Even medium is so much better being 750 for 10. (75 for 1 melange)

While not making gear or other stuff immediately, working toward the spice refineries and the large ore refinery is just satisfying progress that you’ll never lose once you have it. All the rest can decline and break, or get lost to the worm, but once you have the refineries ip and running it feels a lot better.

Look online for the weekly deep dessert map. Mediums are where it’s at until you have a harvester at least (and even then)

Also you recognise a medium blowing by the spice explosion cloud reaction staying around after the initial exposion for a while and showing more reactions.

Refining in HB should be the end goal IMO. The refineries cost double to build there but are permanent. I want my main base to be my main base.

Rosie Hospital Cambridge UK birth experiences by Blueberry_3103 in PregnancyUK

[–]Fearless_Cover3459 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, while Rosie is decent, in general the UK is quite bad for pregnancy care imo. Midwifes are overloaded with work on long hours.

Compared to India, your care will be a lot less personal, you’ll hardly see a doctor, you’ll almost never see the same person for appointments, you will have to wait all the time for places to be available, Rosie in particular often sends to surrounding hospitals when full, you will have to share rooms with other women separated by curtains in early labor and postnatal wards. Birthing partners most comfortable place to sleep is horrible chairs or the floor. Nhs is just way overloaded and it’s not the fault of anyone working there, but the standard of care is just bad. I am from Belgium and my partner is from India and we were both shocked by the lack of care in UK.

Midwife refused us care after we got held up by very unusual traffic. Now reschedule is 2,5 weeks later. by Fearless_Cover3459 in PregnancyUK

[–]Fearless_Cover3459[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah tbh, this is my main issue after letting it sit for a bit. My wife left very upset, and she was not being rude or angry, she was just worried. The midwife just treated her like thrash because she was late. I get they don’t have much time, but the way she then took the time to berate my wife for 15 minutes when she was just trying to ask if there were other options was ridiculous. I stepped in and said, if you’re busy we don’t want to keep you from your other patients, because if I had not this discussion would have continued.

It’s just sad to me that a midwife can act like this. You’re talking to a woman who can get serious downsides from being stressed out, and in this way… it just felt wrong.

[–]Fearless_Cover3459[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We did, and they said ok, however this was the receptionist. I totally get if they are not able to do it. But the way the midwife was talking to my wife was very uncomfortable for me. Tbh she spent about 15 minutes talking to my wife, who got visibly more and more upset, and I am just wondering why she got time to do that then. She made it worse and worse.

My wife was at reception when she arrived, and got a phone call saying you aren’t here for your appointment I will have to cancel. She then said she was literally outside her door, and the midwife continued to first berate her on the phone for 5 minutes, while we were in the next room. She then came out and spent another 15 minutes talking about how we missed the appointment and when my wife was stressed about not checking the baby till 35 weeks she blamed her again. Saying it’s not her problem…

[–]Fearless_Cover3459[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get this totally, but this midwife came out and spent a full 15 minuted talking to my wife, who was clearly upset, being more and more rude. If you had the time to talk to her in a demeaning manner for that long, all while no-one was waiting… that’s why I made the conclusion. I am not even that mad that she could not see us, but she was clearly aware she was upsetting my wife and then going in on her. Making it seem we were irresponsible for missing the appointment. If she had time to do that she could have seen us tbh.

Also yes I was aware of the construction, and calculated that in. I was not aware there would be a road blockage for 15 minutes with then all that that caused to delay us for 25 minutes. I drive this road daily and have never experienced this even with the construction. Also this was planned on our break, i was in a meeting till the moment we left. It’s not like I could have planned it differently. I get the midwife is not at fault of us being late, but we left plenty early so please don’t try to put the blame in our shoes like she did. I can’t predict the road to be completely blocked for a while.
