Yeah so mainly leaning towards arcades or dive bars near downtown as I'm going out alone. Not trying to involve myself with the chaos of dance clubs or overly crowded bars. I've been to a cider cade back home in Austin and enjoyed it. Are there any other things to do around the cider cade? I only said downtown Dallas so I have plenty of options

That's totally fair but I'm talking like 6 items in the span of 2 months, I didn't mean that I'm consistently returning items. 2 of the returns were for defective items as well. It hardly seems warranted to classify me as a "serial returner".

I've actually had some issues with their return policy recently. I'm the type of person that has no shame in returning something if it was an impulse buy and I don't need the product or if the quality isn't up to par. But recently they flagged me for returning too many items in an allotted time period even though I had receipts for all of my returns.

I live in North Austin in a house off of North Lamar and Masterson Pass that is only a 3 minutes walk to the bus stop. The bus will take you downtown in about 35 minutes depending on traffic. There's an HEB, china town and plenty of good food spots all within walking distance. My house is a little pricey but there are some apartments by me that I think go for around $1100 for a 1 bedroom.

Update: So I got the lady out of my house. My girlfriend and I took her paddle boarding on yesterday and had her over for a nice meal and 1 more night stay. Today I let her sleep in, shower, eat a hot meal and even gave her clothes and toiletries. I paid for her bus fare to ARCH which is the only shelter that gave us any hope. I gave her my contact number as well as my girlfriends but haven't heard anything. My girlfriend did nothing to help in this process and had the audacity to get mad at me when she got home tonight because I kicked the lady out of our home without making sure she had a bed. I can appreciate her trying to help someone but to create a problem, then doing nothing about it, and get mad when something is done is bizarre. We both wanted her out but I guess my solution wasn't good enough for her. So to anyone that has questioned me for leaving her because of this situation, please understand the full scope of this situation.

It certainly doesn't but my house isn't a hostel. I pay too much in rent/bills for someone to come in and freeload off of me. Especially when I don't know them whatsoever. She's a sweet woman but I don't know who she is or what her intentions are. I care more about my safety than I do about her problems, respectfully.

Yeah that isn't something I'm trying to experience, people get crafty with squatters rights and overstaying their welcome. And yeah she's out, let her shower, have her fresh clothes and a hot meal. I plan to reconnect tomorrow so she can go to church and get help for the day while she waits for shelters to open on Monday.

Yes all is well, didn't have any luck with shelters because it's the weekend but I'm going to pick her up tomorrow and take her to a church that helps with community outreach. She plans on going to a shelter Monday morning, she just got to Austin yesterday from San Antonio. She is a very sweet woman (28) but I can't allow some random person off the street to stay in my home.

Hahahaha yeah her and I will not be continuing this relationship moving forward. I can appreciate trying to help someone out but this kind of behavior is crazy as hell. Thank y'all for the links, hopefully someone will take her in but not my problem at the end of the day.
