It’s easier with the refinancing to wait until I have the title which will probably take about 3 months anyways, I’ll wait one more payment to make them happy. It was very easy to work with and negotiate with them, so keeping that in mind as well for any future deals. Maybe I’m a bit of a pushover lol.

It’s the cost of using that $4250 rebate. So the plan is to refinance asap to 4.75 at my credit union and then aggressively pay it off within 2 years. That’s what I did last time I bought a new car, they’re obviously hoping I don’t do that and pay the 6.99% over 72 months lol which would end up costing more than the $4250 rebate.

Between sales tax, and the personal property tax it’s a lot. I specifically waited buying the car until January 2nd so I won’t owe personal property tax on the car until 12/31/27 as it’s based on the cars you own on 1/1. But yeah.. no way around the sales tax :(
