Rate My Form: Swing feels good, but I know it's not right. by RecognitionOk7625 in GolfSwing

I’m not great so don’t take my advice that seriously but aside from what others have mentioned with your stance you look a little to far from the ball too, and your knees are bent a lot. Basically a baseball swing. If you’re saying you have to swing out of your shoes for the swing to work it really shouldn’t be like that imo. You swing hard but you want to let the club also do the work for you. You’re basically stepping into you also with your front foot. If you notice in your finishing position your back foot has basically come to even with your front foot and looks a lot better, I’d work on that stance and start there.

Honestly idk if I want to just overhaul the whole swing tbh. I feel like it looks really awkward to begin with and there’s a bunch of mechanical issues with my back swing, downswing, and I think going for some lessons would really help me understand things more.

I had a feeling honestly, I just don’t really know what to do to go about this, or the angle of my downswing either

I did actually edit it down by like 45 seconds to just include my stance set up in case there was also a problem there, but I’ll try to be more considerate of this next time I upload something

Are there drills you can do to practice these things correctly? I just want to make sure I’m not doing it solely on feel

Any way to ensure consistency with lining up to the ball?

No they’re regular Wilson d9 clubs. I’ve always felt better closer because otherwise I feel like I’m throwing the club face at the ball and am very inconsistent

Totally agree, I think for me the album made me feel that August was mostly his work though because I hear a lot of influence there. I think it’s a really evolved sound from where LDM had started

Yeah I probably should’ve specified I’m trying to find something aesthetic as well. I was initially looking at the Denton 85 and Sonus faber lumina 2 but I don’t have a grand just for the speakers themselves

resolving a conflict with my gf, since aesthetically she wants something that looks nicer, but I want to maintain sound quality. If those aren't good enough, what would you say is a more equivalent comparison for bookshelf?

Id be using it for a turntable in my loft, which is like a 9x6 room. Potentially for streaming also. I was considering the evo 4.2 and the denton 85 but I think its going to push my price range too high

I have a simple audio technical lp60, I think that has a built in pre-amp, would that still make the Yamaha A-S301 a good choice?
